:) Glad it helped you Lyn!!

I didn't care for the snus because I'm always drinking tea or soda, so that kinda interferred with that... plus I chewed a bit in high school and it reminded me of that! lol The snuff was appealing because it comes in a wide variety of smells. Since I've now discovered how truly stinky the world is... I could easily 'mask' that by sniffing some jasmine or something. Plus it came in my favorite scents.. the Indian smells!!

Thank you for posting that! I had totally forgotten about snuff. Dh used to use it occasionally when he was painting cars because you don't wanna smoke around all those fumes, and swallowing chew spit is just nasty (you can't spit with that mask on). I think I'll keep my eye out for some for him. He's trying to do this vaping thing too, but he's either not trying very hard or it's not really working yet.

I found Swedish snus at one of our local upscale tobacco/cigar shops. I was surprised to find a fully stocked snus refrigerator in South Carolina. My sweetie/meanie likes the Camel snus over it but I swear he has no taste buds.

I swear if today goes ant slower it will be yesterday:blink:

Lbug where can you get the Swedish snus? Is it sold in stores? You can't get tobacco over the internet here in Pa. I tried the marlboro and camel but it tastes awful. Thanks

Loxy: you can buy the snus around at any gas station around here. The snuff I ordered online.. the only thing my local tobacco shop had smelled like dirt to me :p What kind are you looking for? I can pick ya some up.

Lox or Daisy or anyone else... I have a TON of snuff, and hardly use it anymore (no snus tho, I think I gave the only one I had away). If you'd like to try some, just send me your addy.. be more than happy to share! A little of this stuff goes a LOOOOOng way.

First off, the Chuck is just fine :D

I had an incident yesterday that scared me half to death~! I was putting some groceries in my car; came back with the second load and smoke is rolling out if my car~! I stood there kinda dumbfounded for a minute before I realized what happened.....the bag of charcoal had pushed the Chuck up against the back of the seat and pushed the button in! The carto got so hot my ming drip tip snapped at the base! Freaked me out pretty good but no major harm done~!

don't scare me like that!
(now I see what they meant! hehe)

ahhhh snuff is not what WE call snuff in the south- its the snuff that great grandma used to sniff. I gotcha :)

Now, as unlady like as this is- I have dipped snuff (skoal) back in school-(ya know, we couldnt smoke on school grounds, but I could dip all day, noone ever knew it...) BUT BR hates it- thats why I never used snuff as a quitting method- I think he would have freaked out at the thought. LOL

and i LOVE Skoal- love the taste of it.

But I hadnt thought about snus. I honestly didnt even know what it was-

I might have to try it.

See... me too. I had a friend that dipped all the time, so I would on occassion, because we couldn't in class.. HOWEVER... it's NOT the same as snuff. hehe.. don't go trying to sniff any skoal. ouch! Skoal has a much wetter consistancy, and (as I recall) quite 'biting'. Snuff, OTOH is drier and comes in many different scents... about as many as our juice.. but more nice smells, instead of 'tasty' treats. Tho I do have English Toffee!
