Good morning everyone!!! I stayed up way too late last night reading my blog- I swear, I had forgotten half the stuff my kids do- and I laughed until I cried.

I am so excited the first meeting for my non profit foundation is this week and I pitch the bylaws and letter of intent and all of that to the board on friday!! WHoo-hoo!!

I also have a thousand things to get done before Friday!! LOL
sorry Lox, but I kinda need it to crawl by. LOL

Morning!

Back from the boys practice. I managed to walk 2 miles - got a mile in and shin splints got me! Owww, oww, owww. Debated waiting for the boys to run by me and tossing DS#1 the keys to come get his momma after he finished his run, but managed to stretch it out and work my way back. By the time I got back the shin splint was gone.

Getting ready to head out to clean. The boys are coming with me - one model and one market today - if we can beat the rain.

Magnus - what about throwing stuff at the tree where the buzzards are chillin?

They just move and come back. Thirteen this morning. I just got done a hour ago with cutting down the mangled wood mess. I'm going to work up the rocks and get some better soil mixed in.

A few of them are lingering around while I do all this. -Magnus

Maybe they have babies in the area???

Just remember, you cant kill a bird of prey- :( so SSS or here is another solution:

Q: A friend is having problems with buzzards. Forty of them gather on her roof each day. They actually got into her garage and pulled the seal off the convertible top on her car. Any suggestions?

A: Despite their unattractive countenance and none-too-delicate eating habits, buzzards (vultures) are Federally protected. This means you can’t kill them, though I’m sure that’s what you’d like to do after one tears up your convertible. One way to make them feel less than welcome is to place a motion-activated water sprayer near where they land or congregate. Look for the Scarecrow (Innovative Green Technology for Gardens, Pets and Pests - Contech Enterprises Inc.) or the Havahart Spray Away (Havahart® Live Animal Traps and Animal Repellents - Total Yard Protection From Critters & Wild Life ! | Havahart.com).

I am SOOO not into 'relocate agervating animals' thing.... but we all need legal alibi's alternatives- :)

MAil came! I had 3 packages of juice!!!! It all came..... I am sooooo happy!!! WOOT! WOOT!!!!

Seriously, Magnus, it you have a friend with a big dog that is family friendly, see if you can baby sit it for a while. If the birds arent allowed to land, they will go elsewhere that is more friendly to them. Border Collies(herding dogs), Rhodesian Ridgebacks and the like are very good for this. Its what airports do in many areas to keep them away.
