Ooh Q4 better yet imagine a house full of guys after a cook out and full of baked beans :p

Feeling pretty good this morning but Lox that thought is just bad...reeallly BAD. I just want to say a quick Hello to everyone. Call me crazy but I can feel the PIF love through the computer The sun came up this morning,we're alive and I know each of us has at least one blessing we can be thankful for ;but if you don't I have extra I can share! :) Still no rain and fires are still burning .Any of you have a loved one in the firefighting or related area give them a hug and tell them thanks from me. I also want to thank all of you for the good thoughts ,prayers etc.sent my way over the past months.I have not had a dizzy spell for some time now and I am happy to report my diabeties is much improved .Though not quite in the "normal" range it is much lower to the point I have been able to reduce my insulin dosage by 1/3!!! Of course not everything is perfect though;my lease is up and due to major renovations I must move by August 31st.I know no one who likes moving but I think the good Lord may have a nicer place for me to move to I just need to get to looking! In the mean time packing needs to get started so while I'm feeling so well and before the day slips away I think Id better get started on that. Loving thoughts and prayers to you all! (((HUGZ!)))..... gramakittycat

Gramakittycat---my best thoughts are with you and your fellow New Mexicans (my uncle included). I've luckily lived through personal fires and the devastation can be breathtaking. ((((Hugs))))

Magnus--- a little house (and they are adorable) might not be the best for Florida. If you want a small, storm resistant structure, you might want to look into geodesic dome homes, which probably cost the same as the small houses, but with lots more room inside. I personally think they are also very cool looking and being rounded, have good feng shui energy! lol!

Happy Wednesday PIF!!!! Wishing you all the best day! :)

The world around me is reporting kaos. Best wishes and prayers to anyone facing hardship.

Its a beautiful day here. Kids are whining(thats a good thing, they have something to whine ABOUT), dogs are all playing or sleeping, and we have a good breeze cooling the air. I appreciate everyday I'm given- the bad ones make me appreciate to good one more!

Just got my Ego from CleoLove- plus extras. She rocks. Life is good. What more can I want? Well, maybe a small windfall but I'm not complaining!

And my first juices are starting to pop!!!

Looking like a goodie out there -- we had a pounding storm system yesterday, fortunately fast moving (made the drive home interesting -- no place to pull over.)

We had one like that at about 11PM. Fast and furious. My son had to take his gf home (2 minutes away) and he came back soaked to the bone. Today is just another beautiful day! :)

MarkFM, I feel your wifes pain. I planted a veggie garden this year at our new house. 20 x 10 feet. 3 weeks in we had a hail storm that took it ALL out. Everything except a few started against the house in a flower bed.

So I re- planted it and a week later had another hail storm. Then flooding. No veg garden here anymore :(
Just One of the bad things that make me appreciate good things more.

I swear if today went any slower I'd be getting younger

Tell me about it guess I'll go mow the yard to speed things up some!
I thought it was after noon when Ron called and it was 11 unreal sleeping in tomorrow 7:30 is to early to get up if ya don't have too lol

All of our standard vegetables are in raised beds, non treated lumber framing (even though the new PT is supposed to be safe). DW is already planning on a new bubband task for next year, setting up an open frame over the squash bed. If heavy storms are predicted we'll throw a tarp over it.
