And TJ, that REALLY sucks about the unit you're trying to sell. I can't believe someone would do that. Sounds like poorly raised, rotten teenagers to me. I hope you catch them, I'd whip their asses. I had a hard day but reading that just let me know that it could have been WORSE. And you're right, holidays like the 4th bring out the worst in people. Which is sad, because it's supposed to have been a holiday to show pride in our country. Hard to do when your fellow Americans just STOLE $2000.00 + worth of stuff from you!! Grrr.

Casey Anthony got away with murder! People like her should NEVER be allowed to have kids!
Yesterday my high school friend's 6 yr old died of brain cancer after a 2.5 yr battle. May 22nd my friend and her husband lost a baby who lived for 45 minutes (and knew it would most likely die for 10 weeks before).
I hope and pray this woman didn't kill her baby and that the verdict was correct. I live with the peace that there is a higher Power and He knows the truth.

I believe she was guilty of something but the prosecutors had no real evidence to prove their case and based on the evidence I heard, I would have found her not guilty too.
You are right about the lack of evidence. But in my heart I know she did SOMETHING to cause the death of that baby. The jury probably think the same way. It just can't be proven.
libra - that's what my DH feels too. Based on what info from the trial he got to read/hear. The verdict has to be beyond a reasonable doubt in order to convict.
And that is the pain and at the same time, beauty of our justice system.
IMHO, the prosecutors had no case and that's why they kept leaking "evidence" to the public and they were trying to poison the jury pool to win the case. It didn't work.
It's so tragic. My guess is that Kaylee died of some sort of neglect. Placed in a hot car too long, maybe even drowned because of no supervision. I'm not a chem geek but I have a feeling that the chloroform they found could have been actually chlorine from the pool. What ever happened, Casey is in the hands of the Universe.

Package Alert! lol I finally got our package going to Afghanistan mailed! WOOT!
It was a harrowing experience! I filled out the customs form and while standing in line my pulse was racing I was getting all shaky and started to sweat
I HATE having to answer those questions that they ask! Especially when there is probably a gallon of liquid in the package that I am mailing
I did not do delivery confirmation :-( The question just slipped right past me! I think it will be OK though because I have the PO receipt and a customs receipt with the customs document number on it. That box was so full that I had to put my knee on it to hold the flaps shut while taping
They said it should only take 7 days which really surprised me. I just wanted to pop in and let everyone know that it is en route

It was my understanding the chloroform was in a syringe and in a bottle and recipes were on her computer, but that was info from when it happened and not the trial??
I didn't keep up with the trial but remember when it happened and how much controversey surrounded it. I wish they had more explanation of what happened. I thought Casey Anthony was probably guilty. You hear of innocent people getting jail time often so you never know.... Sometimes the truth just never comes out. That whole situation was so sad and disturbing.
I rant constantly about people not deserving to be parents. Unfortunately I know a lot of people who can't parent and think doctors are going to give their children a magic pill that makes them mind and be good. I want to shake the crap out of people like that!! There's no substitue for good parenting...and they need it from day 1, not when you finally decide to be a good parent and it's too late!!!

Going back to listening to my kids yell and scream. Puppy is terrorizing the house, pulling out toys, eating the pizza coupons off the fridge, and I'm loving it all. I have a headache and a short fuse today. But they dont need to know that

Obviously no chloroform bottle or syringe as it was never presented as evidence. That's what I mean about the prosecution poisoning the jury pool. She might have been lying, but her Mom testified that she (the Mom) was doing a search on chlorophyll in regard to plants and if chlorophyll was poisonous, and chloroform came up on the search. This was on the family computer. You know how when you do a search, so many sites come up? The prosecution used the amount of sites that came up on the search and they did not mention that only one site about chloroform was ever visited and her Mom claimed she was the one that visited that site.

.....as I clean the house up after a month's absence with three stinky cats holding down the fort. I've never seen such a fuzzy house! Luckily my migraine I woke up with has subsided, but I only have another day and a half to get this place under control before family arrives.
Last night we arrived home; were chased into the neighborhood by some scary teens and then greeted at our doorstep by 2 roaches, a grasshopper, and a moth as big as my iPod. Gotta love Florida!

Man.... Mondays that masquerade as Tuesdays do indeed suck. I'd give just about anything for an actual arms-wrapped around me hug about now. Brutal day and it's going to trickle right through the week. Ugh.
