Gorgeous morning here. My neighbor and cohurt in crime called me at the .... crack of dawn (since she knew I was up) to point out the deer using our other neighbor's landscaping as a salad bar. A little of this, a little of that. Bold as brass this dear - within feet of the front door of the one door.
The #1 & #2 are off running and i'm getting ready to head to work for a bit before running home to do a million errands to get ready for vacation.

So stupid kid of the week story (not mine thank goodness)
My neighbor (and boss) is a cop for our little city. They got a call last weekend from a neighbor in the neighborhood about a possible break in at a house that has been for sale. The owners moved over a year ago to a nearby community. The neighbors suspect a party.
My neighbor was working and went on the call. Turns out the owners son who just graduated high school decided to have a party. Over 20 underage kids drinking. More than the cops could haul in , so they start calling parents. Cop neighbor is talking to the kid who is begging him to NOT call his parents - Lt. Neighbor explains that is not an option as sorry as he is, he HAS to call his parents. Kid refuses to give him the number. Lt Neighbor whips out his personal cell phone goes through his directory and calls the Dad's cell. DUH! Kid was shocked. Lt Neighbor has about 80% of the neighbor's contact numbers. When they moved out they made sure Lt. Neighbor had their number "just in case".

My sister is in Clearwater with her family (and will be joining us in Indian Shores on Saturday) had been bragging that her kids didn't need sunscreen due to their Italian heritage on their dad's side. It's a jab at those redheaded children of mine. Guess who's kids got sunburnt yesterday even though it was cloudy? - yeah. Dumb bunny. I'm taking 5 new things of sunscreen in addition to the stuff already in the swimbag.
