I'm watching Firefly.... because crime does pay. Well sometimes even. W/ a buxom redhead sometimes even. Even. -Magnus
Firefly is pure WIN, and a suitable alternative to DR Who
I'm not a big fan of that actress myself but she fits the bill I suppose. The series is just good wholesome family educational entertainment.

Listening to Greek radio and they're FREAKING out in Cyprus about the influx of Russian only and Farsi only speakers. This is not the 'learn English or go back to whence you came from' variety. It's violence some of these people are suggesting. Persians and Russians going at it with the Greeks again I suppose. I feel for these people, the desperation and fear from their greater economic woes is palpable. -Magnus

The house members are asleep....Mom thinks she should be too.....but dogs had to go out...Mom makes note to take squeeky toys away from puppy at night to avoid annoying wake up noise....
Now to get that espresso ready....

So I went to the arthritis doc yesterday for the first time. Pain drove me to it. They took x-rays.
Got a call late in the day, x-rays were back. Degenerative disk disease. And a shadow on L4. Waiting to schedule a MRI to determine cause. No problems here. At least I have an explanation for the pain.

Good luck Pam, hopefully everything will turn out ok, or at least tollerable. Seeing my mom suffer from back problems and knowing that I am next weighs heavily on me sometimes. I have to get some vertibae "shaved" due to spinal cavity narrowing, and it scares the crap out of me.
DDD sucks, thats what my mom has. Fortunately I do not have any signs or symptoms yet, but most likely will. Judging by your posts you seem to be a strong person and you will make it through...just hang in there and rely on all of us to help you through it.

Today my oldest son turns 27 it is sooooo unreal how time goes by it seem like just yesterday he was born ok maybe not yesterday but not 27 years either lol
Pam don't let it get you down my back is a road map they want to operate but Im not ready. I go to a pain doctor and that has helped alot over the years

Jordon,today is my sons birthday too!!and tomorrow is mine.He was like a birthday gift,LOL!
happy early birthday!!! One of mybestfriends b-day is today too!! Looks like a lot of good people were born at the end of July!
