Mailman stalking today. No chance he'll get here early, since he has packages for me. :glare: DH is at over a week with no tobacco :D. Once we figured out about his PG allergy he's going through juice at a pretty good clip. :p On that note, all you DIYers, do you have a good place to get PG free flavoring? PGA and VG are both fine, but I want to avoid PG in the flavoring as much as possible. He doesn't like anything but tobacco flavors.

GOOD MORNING PIF!!!!

Natures Flavors coffee and tea flavoring system. Not cheap, but good, 0 PG. (price actually isn't bad at the 2 or 4 ounce sizes, but smaller sampler bottles are expensive, and their delivery cycle is several weeks). I've liked their vanilla, banana, strawberry, black cherry, blackberry, caramel, cappuccino.

For a tobacco base, use TPA's Tobacco Blend Alc, with possibly some of their Tobacco Absolute diluted (with alc) to perk up a blend. (TB Alc is actually TA plus EM, but I'm too lazy -- they have consistent TB Alc).

For mints, Faeries Finest has some decent ones; their Pppermint by itself, at 20 - 25% flavoring, is nice. For menthol, either TPA or Voidmist menthol liquid concentrate (in alc) is easier to work with than menthol crystals.

I do a vanilla tobacco with 8% NF vanilla, 12% TPA tobacco blend. Substitute black cherry for the vanilla for a blk cherry tobacco. For a smooth tobacco, try about 12% tobacco blend, 2 drops of the TA per 10 ml of final mix, and 3% NF hazelnut.

Thank you Mark. I tell you, I thought he was a picky eater until I started making him juice. The tobacco blend (alc) is the one I made him. I think it needs honey, but if I do that I can't tell him that's what I did. I will try the tobacco absolute too. I made him some Dunhil from China, so it probably has PG in it and it doesn't seem to be causing a problem. I'm really hoping that he just can't have more than the 5% I put in for flavoring. Even RY4 got shut down from just smelling it. He's gonna be a straight tobacco guy, at least at first. FWIW I did try unflavored for him, but he said it needed a little something. And I thought finding MY all day vape was a PITA.

ETA: I will give your smooth tobacco a shot. I just won't tell him what I put in it. I've been feeding him onions for years that way, even though he swears he's allergic to them. ;)

If he can deal with some PG, Seedman Commercial concentrate is really an excellent tobacco base. I use it at 12%. A very firm tobacco would be to add 4 drops of the TA diluted per 10 ml of final mix. A mellow tobacco would be the Seedman Commercial 12%, hazelnut 3%, 2 drops of TA diluted per 10 ml of final mix.

Seedman carries it (of course), and BlueMist.
