Hi guys, just thought I would pop in & say hi! Baby's been keeping me busy, busy! Hope everything is good. Have I missed any major events in PIF? I just got a Reo mini and it's pretty kickass.
I have to go back to work next week and I am dreading it so bad. Have to take her into daycare and I know I'm gonna cry

Morning all wedding went well yesterday they are going to have a real big wedding in Dec and want me to do it!! Yesterday was a small one.
Red - she's adorable! And yeah, the first week kinda sucks, the first day sucks big green donkey ones. She'll have a good time. Lots to keep her entertained. her first little friends.
Well looks like I have a bit of a reprieve - I'll be working a bit tomorrow and next week. Glad to squirrel away any $$ I can for Christmas!

So, i went to the eye torture place today. They did all this crap to my eyes and said I needed "multi-focus" contacts
...ok, whatever...well, I'm supposed to be able to see distance better (which I can) and read better (um, epic fail). I can't see to read worth a crap. I could read things just fine before! WTF! I hate these contacts! I'm giving them two days...maybe my eyes just need to adust...I mean, they WERE abused today. Damn getting old sucks.

I had trouble with them too B - if my distance vision was correct I wouldn't read (much).....if I could read, my distance vision wasn't clear enough. My mom did mono-vision - 1 eye corrected for distance the other for reading....couple of days to adjust and then it was good.
When I still wore contacts, I would put on reading glasses (the kind you buy in the store - magnavision is optic-grade glass - not all are created equal) - while at work or reading a book. Everything else was fine.
Now I'm wearing my glasses - when I'm reading I take them off.

Well, I'm so glad they talked me into getting a years supply of these horrid things! 
I think I'll be calling them tomorrow and telling them that's not going to happen. Seriously, I hate these contacts.

B - glad you said something - you may have just helped DH. He was told bi-focal contacts are next. I suggested cheaters first. I don't wear glasses or contact - but unless my arms grow longer am going to have to get something myself soon.
I think I will just stick with my "old-man" bifocals. Can NOT do contacts. Fingers that close to my eyes makes me want to throw up in my mouth a little.
Bloody hell... Latest tracking status for my oxycon which was Suppose to be delivered today...Amarillo, TX, United States 10/27/2011 4:00 P.M. Mechanical failure on railroad flatcar.
