I'm hoping the fiber that is consuming your time is cotton or wool and not the metamucil kind :p

((I wanna see your project))

I will take pics of it when I'm getting results. I got a bunch of those pipettes and a pump from OSDIYS. I was super excited because they make my sample measuring of tenths of a ml sooo much easier. It was not until today that I realized the 10ml pipettes start at 1 ml. I thought I was dispensing 0.3ml but was actually dispensing 1.3ml. It's okay I guess, since I need to start over due to turquoise being a picky little ..... of a dye. :p I will say THANK GOODNESS FOR vaping, because I'd never get any of this done if I was running outside every hour to smoke. :vapor:

ETA: When did they start letting us cuss on here?:?: I thought it would bleep me...

I would call it a dyenado at this point. My mind is consumed with all things dye related. So much so that my house is a mess, and my family is feeling very neglected. :p Hopefully I will have this down to one or two days a week soon. It's the prep work that eats entire days without me realizing it. But I'm ahead of the game (I think) at this point. I'm certain I'm putting waaay too much into it, but when I'm done I will have more than 1,300 reproducible sample colors for my many other hobby's needs. :D

He pretty much hates me. :( Or maybe it's not me, but the cone on around his head. OK, it's probably both of us. :glare:

Oliver must be a pretty high-strung cat...

Morning!

Poor Oliver. At least keep your laugher to a low roar to try not to hurt his feelings!

Lox (waves) - my week is flying, highlighting how little I'm accomplishing lol. However DS#1 gets to live today...he turned in his 1st college application(s) - the one had to be submitted by midnight central yesterday and included an essay...I was gonna hurt him bad if it didn't happen.

OK,I have a question.Who uses 18650 batts? Do they last alot longer than 16340s? Im thinking I need to try something with 18650s,is it worth it? Im thinking less charging and changing would be better for me in the next few months.Im going to be on my own alot and wont be getting around to well for a while after this next surgery. The less I need to change and charge the better. So what do you think? 18650s?

When i vape 3.7v I use 2900 mah 18650s and they last me pretty much all day, which means a normal vaper would get a day and a half or two out of them...

I can tell you the current RCR132a/16340 3.7V batteries Buzz is selling, the Powerizers, are really solid, they test at near 650 mAh real world. Buzz had a bear of a time at the BP release, turns out there were a lot of batteries not providing anywhere near the claimed mAh He set up a special test rig just so he could see what the batteries really did. I run 6 - 7 ml on a set of batteries, at about 5V/8W, before swapping.

(I also get the same run time with the Infinity batteries, 6 - 7 ml of vaping, between changes, consistent with Buzz measuring them out at roughly the same real-world mAh.)

Using a tank I have one battery swap during the day, since I vape more, that's why I like to measure use in terms of ml between changes. When I'm strictly on cartos, no tank, I vape less frequently, back down in the 6 - 7 ml range during a day, so they last all day.

No clue on the 18650, just that in the 16340 there is wide variation in real run time.

We had a similar incident with a kitty being freaked out. You might enjoy the blog post from years ago. "New Kitty" was a rescue that we refused to name.

Sooo...
I was walking into my office and saw New Kitty with her head in the large round plastic bowl that has the small spools of thread in it. In a stern voice, kinda like how you get Willow to guilty bark, I said "New Kitty". She jerked her head up and the plastic bowl was still attached. This caused the spools of thread to fall towards her face. Suddenly a bad situation got very worse, kitty adrenaline kicked in and the energy was quickly routed to her legs. Well, a kitty with a huge ... plastic bowl on her head takes up a bit more space than a normal kitty head, she bumps the plastic bowl on the doorway on her way out of the room. This causes the spools of thread to whirl around like snow in a snowglobe. Other kitties gather around looking shocked and confused. New Kitty keeps running, her kitty brain unable to process the situation. I laugh like a mad woman chasing after New Kitty. I grab her in the den and it was like trying to hold on to mercury but I finally got the damn thing off. She ran far and fast to hide and the other kitties are still snickering.
Is there a special medication for kitties with post traumatic stress syndrome?

plastic bowl just like this but without lid :)

Im changing stacked 16340s 880 mah at 5v 4 or 5x a day,with 18650 3000mah I figure maybe 1 or 2 changes per day would work.

I know, but maybe that will be okay for a month or so.Im thinking something like the SB so it can be 6v when Im healed up and vaping properly.Plus looking around is keeping me busy and I need that right now.I really shouldnt spend the money but I may sell some stuff to get it.Mostly its giving me something to do besides worry.Im trying really hard not to get down in the dumps, know what I mean? This has gone on way to long and Im very tired of being home alone all the time.I just want to feel better and get back to normal.Have a job and go out like everyone else, lol.Looking at PVs and thinking about vaping is just keeping me amused for now.
