LOL - I love coming in here - you never know what the topic will be!

Well Thanksgiving is officially over at the Witless house hold. Leftover turkey cooked in garvey and served over stuffing or mashed potatoes or bread depending

Tree is up but not decorated. Mowed the front yard for the last time this year. we don't think we've ever mowed this late before. And snow showers in the forecast for Tuesday (high of 66 today)
Outside lights are one and wreaths are in the windows.

Took #3 & #2 to a movie night for youth group - enjoyed the Christmas lights on our way home. I think a lot of people pushed to get out and get their lights up yesterday and today due to the nice weather!

DH is getting ready to head to Singapore - just dawn on us that we needed to firm up what we're getting the kids since we won't be able to chat about it in our normal way with him 13 hours ahead time wise - though his phone "should" work this time.

And I have NO idea what to get his mom. Heck I'm having a hard time with my own parents!

Frank's ford, in the Caintuck
I was going to put up a pic of the guy star (is that capt reynolds?) but lets face it, cleavage is way more fun to look at.

Capt. Mal Reynolds was the beefcake for the show.
Jayne Cobb was the everyman/comic relief.

Hoban Washburne was the "guy star," which is why there's been no more movies since Serenity.

You just had to bring it up, and right before my turning! :(

But - I'd say Mal was the "guy star/beefcake", Wash was the "comic relief/everyman" and Jayne was the "sort of lovable ...". That's an archetype right?

Oh, and Shepherd Book was the "wise Obi Wan guy".
