BTW - for all battery buyers, I debated about using Manafont for days and finally bit the bullet. It took a few weeks but my batteries got here and they are by all appearances genuine and work as well as the ones I bought from US vendors. So, if you wanna save some money...

believe you need IMR high drains for the Lavatube babe. They don't have a protection circuit, they use safe chemistry I believe, and the PC in the protected batts will probably trigger at higher voltages in that mod and shut it down.

Well, I asked because if I already had batts that worked with it, it would only cost me $63 shipped and my dads going to pitch in 23$ so it would be an even 40..

Safe to draw a lot of amps when vaping. (high amp draw = high drain)

From what I gather from reading around here it's like this: The high drain batts can take higher amperage than is required by your atty/carto. This puts the battery under less stress, gives you a better hit and allows you to take a shorter draw to produce the same amount of vapor.
