I have some juices that I have gotten in trade...but one thing I have learned is that if people want to trade a juice for your DIY juice...they usually don't send their favorites. Not sure that I would want to be known as someone who pays it forward with Satin's Butthole juice. Those might be better off going down the sink and using the bottles for my own DIY juices. I can never seem to keep enough bottles!!!
well, if ya get short on gear, those simple things like clean empty bottles can be good pifs. Stay away from used cartos and whatnot...sanitation and all....but most items can still hold a value or purpose
Indeed. Yeah used cartos would not be a good thing to give or receive. I will have to find the thread and watch it for a little bit to see how it all works.
There are a few threads, so be sure to read the first post of each one to check any new rules or whatnot. If you see tc, thats treasure chest, for those that just wanna give something away, but no need to recieve anything. You get the idea..
Ahhhh...I actually am getting lost in the recipes thread. I started DIY about two months ago and I have made a few things I really like but not a lot of complex recipes. So far I have found two on there that I have copied to notes and will be buying a few flavors to mix these up!
Safety first ALWAYS! I actually work as a Biochemist so while nic is a dangerous chemical to work with and I always take precautions...it is not nearly are scary as things like Triflouric Acid, or Perimidine as examples.
Ive managed to make a few batches that satan himself would turn his nose up to....and I like to think I have one or 2 that are heavens bliss....but most are more bleh....so I tinker, yes. I might not be the guy to give recipe advise though..lets be honest here. But there are many others here that very well could.
I really just tinker myself. I mean to come up with a true winner takes a lot of trial and error...at least at my house that is the case. The only thing I have made that I really love is one I call Cardinal Cin. It is a strong cinnamon which has made me purchase pyrex lil mama tanks from Big Daddy Vapors. HA! The only downside to this flavor is it kills my taste buds...so it is hard to play around with other recipes while vaping it. I literally have to force myself off of it for a minimum of 3 days or longer to even start to taste any other flavors. Currently I am vaping some juices I bought from The Vapor Room a few weeks ago. I have probably 15 of their juices now and haven't found a bad one yet. This is not normal from my past experience. Having all these juices here and ready to vape has made me lazy in the DIY area. I actually ordered 15 new flavors from TPA 2 weeks ago and haven't played with more than 2 of them yet.
Well, flavoring dont really go bad ime, so plenty time to mess with what ya like. But as Im sure youve noticed, hoarding is a plague on e cigs....but you cant help but laugh about it. Im not sure many ppl do it, but I reccon to refresh the pallet, you can do no flavor liquids for a couple days. It sounds like blasphemy as I type it, but Im seriously considering it myself, as my cinnamon role ( 1 heavens bliss) is getting muted now. SOme last a couple weeks, some a few months. But make no mistake, flavor gluttony has its punishments.
When I first started vaping 3 months ago I picked up a 510 kit from a local smoke shop in town. I forget what the name was on it. It was a great starter kit but like everything for me I was looking for the next great thing.
I picked up a lavatube right after Thanksgiving and man did that blow my mind. VV and HV just got me revved up. I love it. A little over a week ago I picked up a Reo Grand which I use at 5V (seems to be my sweet spot) and I love it as well. It's just a different kind of love.
Now all that being said I have to say my best purchase was that 510 kit that I got in town. I quit smoking analogs due to that little kit and to me that has been the biggest benefit of starting this new hobby/addiction!
