well I went to a meet up with some mommies from my mommy web site tonight. I brought a disposable e-cig with me because I knew one of them had talked about quitting smoking and signing a contract with her daughter....and I brought my ego and even Ms Hog.

If a gal named Everybodylovesgladys shows up here or in the noobs, give her a shout out! She was very interested. I explained how very pathetic the disposable was - but I figured it was worth a couple of bucks to give her an idea. She was very interested in the ego and floored by the Ms Hog. I told her to not worry about the mod (yet hehehe)

baby steps. baby steps.

And Beth has decided to grout too! But...I just went to look at it, and it's not white. She got an off white color...I think it looks dirty, but she likes it. Whatever...I don't have to do it so I'm not saying a word. ;) Light fixture, baseboards and vanity/sink/faucet tomorrow. Her Parents will be here on Friday, I'm hoping her dad will help me with the door trim and the toilet. *crosses fingers* Making her stop and going to bed. Night all.

did you know that if you boil your fluxo's until all the water is gone in the pot the new thicker walled plastic tube will melt?

Yep- it will-
and my helpful children are now aware of it.

I had put all 7 of my fluxo's (I was using 2 ) in a pan with water and set on the stove- gonna boil them while I was cooking supper so I wouldnt forget- and a kid saw them while making popcorn and turned them on for me.

I didnt know it until I could smell the extra juice in them burning off- it smelt kinda good- and by then they were toast...

ROFLMAO!

Hey Guys

Well, let me update Heather's mom staying at our house. Years of alcoholism, a tad of dementia and a whole lot of denial is a hell of a thing. She's smoking on the porch and hardly using the ecig. She's not even using an ego battery a day. She hates my cooking. We cook healthy stuff here and she's about to die. She told Heather that brown rice had arsenic in it. :eyeroll:

Other than that, everything is fine. We hired someone to bush hog and till our garden and I'm obsessed with the seed catalogs.

I hope that everyone is doing fine. I miss you guys!

Hey Ladies!!

Have fun baby proofing, mine always found something to get into. Usually pots and pans and anything left out in the bathroom.

That sounds bad Enid, we are trying to eat healthy and the kids complain now and then, but its good for them and they will live. Do what I do with my Dad.Take her to the store and get her her own cart and let her buy and cook what she wants. After a few days she will eat whatever you make.

Red- I'd love to see new baby pics:)

Chelle- We have wild bunnies out in our yard. omg. omg. omg.

Keyz- She rode the walmart scooter and picked out a cart full of foods. It reminds me of a teenager. She's skipping dinner and eating pringles, deli meat and ice cream.

I've made it the whole way through without complaining to her. I complain to Heather :-x BUT, she doesn't pay attention and let the cats/dogs escape THREE times today. If any of the animals get hurt, I will go ballistic, no holds barred.

redgirl! Maybe you'll be as lucky :glare: as we were, and your precious will walk at 9 months :glare:. Do you have a walker yet? Livi had one that looked just like a mini Jeep. Was hilarious! Her happiness level went up a good 10 notches when we gave her that thing. She figured it out very quickly and was thrilled to be mobile. She's 3 now and I STILL have baby gates up to keep her out of the kitchen/dining room. IN TO EVERY. THING. OMG. I've never seen a kitchen destroyed so fast. I wish you all the luck in the world babe!

Enid...SQUEEEEEE for wild bunnies! They're the cutest...well, besides squirrels. ;) I'd be ...... too if someone was careless and let my animals escape. grrrrrr! I feel for you. What are you going to plant? My peach tree is beautiful right now with it's blossoms. I'll have to get a picture.

Speaking of pictures:

The floor is DONE. And I have to say, it looks AWESOME! The baseboards and quarter round are DONE...and I have to say again, looks awesome. I have one piece of door trim to cut and put up, then paint all the door trim. The vanity is in and the faucet is hooked up, but the drain needs another piece of pipe...still have to attach the sink to the vanity too...and put in the toilet...AND THEN IT'S DONE DONE DONE. I see light at the end of the tunnel. :D
