Yep, thats my kid... They have been replacing my fish with ones they caught so they can fish at home when they cant go to the pond... UGGGG.
Well, I have had an exciting week- I made my one year anniversary, made vet, and got published. LOL

Stuffed Giraffe 0
She tore some of the stuffing out and shoved about 15 peanuts in there
Then she moved all the peanuts out and back into her nest box and proceeded to tear the rest of the stuffing out of the giraffe and put THAT in her nest box. Giraffe is pitiful! Just a flat shell of once plump giraffe shaped material. I see new toys in Baby's future.

Oh, and here is the little Worm Snake living under the fake mulch (it's like a solid circle of rubberish stuff that's made to look like mulch , whoever invented it freakin' rocks!) at the base of our peach tree:

Thanks Dark I had NO clue what to write about- LOL I have hunted all my life, but didnt have any great stories. Most of them revolve around something embarrising and funny or just pure luck. lol PLUS, it was a "OH CRAP, here I sit at the Hospital and my story is due TODAY!" LOL (when my FIL had surgery)

Good evening PIF!
Tomorrow is my dad's 71st birthday - I made geman chocolate cake and am trying to decide if I make the icing and ice it tonight to wait until tomorrow.
My sister has graciously offered her abode for the party - I'm bringing pop, cake and fruit salad and chips and dip. I definitely got off easy! lol And she's hosting Easter Dinner next week. She's very allergic to our cats and loves to entertain. I hate to entertain - even just family. lol
Off to make some dips.

I hate mulch! But it did make my yard look better. Why does it have to smell so bad??

I still need to get mulch - and the smell - ewwww. I've smelled manure that didn't stink so bad! Of course it was aged manure, but still!
I agree, mulch doesn't just stink it STANK. It also makes me cough.
If you don't mind the smell of eucalyptus, the eucalyptus mulch is awesome. Plus it grows so fast that I don't feel bad about using it. If you are using the cheap red mulch, you might want to look into what it's made out of.
