anyhow I told her that If I really was mean and evil I don't think Bianca would like me much because she's one of the softest, sweetest people I have run into on ECF. I may have compared you to Marshmallow creme...

First "Peeps" and now this

No reason not to. I'm really enjoying the RSM Mark 9 I won a week ago; it's a large, well crafted, wood bottom feeder.

My notcigs vvpv is where it's at for absolutely top flavor, and the buzz pro is great for knocking around, but the simplicity of the RSM is pleasant. Pretty much idiot proof, squeeze the bottle and vape.

It is so hard for me to put those contests in http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/pay-forward-pif/105214-contests.html thread. I want to be winner, but at the same time I want to help eveybody.

When there is a sweet mod like the RSM, I have the little angel/devil conversation.
"Don't list it! Maybe you'll be the only entry, you'll win!"
"List it. It's the only good thing you do."
"Don't list it. You know you want to win!"
"List that contest, or I'll tell my sister, Karma!"

But, as much as I want an RSM mod, I had to list the contest. Everybody should have a chance, and it is the only good I do for PIF (who have done so much for me).

I never used an atty until I got the notcigs vvpv.I'm way too lazy to mess with dripping, and only used tube mods.

A 2600 or 3100 mAh AW protected battery, 6 ml in the feeder bottle, 1.5 ohm atty, does make things simple :) I dialed in my eliquid a long time ago, use one diy exclusively

All this talk about bottom feeders is making me VERY excited to get one (or two?) back in my life!! Simplicity and beauty (some gorgeous wood feeders out there for sure!), gotta love it.

Yay keyzy!!

Slept like a rock last night. I'm going to miss these muscle relaxers when they're gone. :( Two more days of steroids. Very interested in what the Dr. has to say tomorrow. My shoulder actually feels better sometimes, but if I use it during those times, my whole arm and hand go purple and numb again. Sigh.

Mornin everyone!!
yesterday was a BLAST! started at 4:30 getting everyone up and dressed and ready for the shoot- drove an hour and my boys did pretty good- we didnt expect trophies going in, and had no illusion of them when we left a little early to get to the FNRA dinner and auction. Then we stopped at Sonic to get drinks and started getting texts and phone calls- DS # 1 was in TWO shootoffs!! So, we hauled .... back to the range, he shot the first which was Trap, him and the kid shot 6 for 6- and TIED. so they moved back 3 yards and did it again. He won this time- So he came away with 3rd place!

THEN he had to shoot skeet- they also tied the first round, and had to do it again- this time she beat him, so he ended up in 3rd there too.

Plus, he got 10 for 10 on the tower- its a game where they throw you 10 skeet, he was the only perfect score- it was so easy we never thought about winning it. DS # 2 got 4th place in it with 8 for 10. the 4 highest scores were in their division, 10 for 10, two 9 for 10's and then 8 for 10.
DS # 2 also got 2nd place in Trap- DS # 1 got 5th,
all in all, we took 4 kids and came away with 10 or 11 ribbons!

BUT the shootoffs left us short on time, so we didnt even get to change clothes before going to the banquet- LATE! IT was a great night- lots of fun, and we even won another gun! A kimber pistol.

whoo-hoo!!

Got the hall cleaned up, and in record time- we were out of there by midnight! Then we got home, everyone literly fell in the floor and passed out, except I started counting dogs- we were two short- had to go search them out- they were about 1/8 of a mile down the road at my mothers- she has a dog in heat. UGGGGG 1:30 am and I am playing musical chairs with 2 little yappy dogs. I get one in the truck, the other jumps out. I find that one and the second one has bailed out and then ran 100 yards down the road and just staring at me..

Q4 ten for ten is awesome. Buy that kid a new shooting vest :)

This may be a little off topic but I suspect that you of all people in PIF would understand:
I was reading up on pattern analysis and even with perfect shooting getting a straight 100 is a fluke because of holes in patterns. Well its not a fluke, but statistically you can expect one out of the one hundred to miss because the clay flew through a hole in the pattern.

Big congrats on the Kimber! My kimber is my favorite pistol.

We were JUST talking about perfection and its unatainability (or almost unattainability) yesterday!! And yes, it makes PERFECT sense to me- Thanks for the tidbit- I will pass that study on to my kids - maybe they will understand it and let it apply to them!! my kids are in the habit of shooting a bad round, deciding its the gun and switching. Luckily they are slowly learning they suck the same with any gun they use! ;-) LOL

Yes, you can pattern your gun constantly, but the irregularities in the actual shotshell can also affect your pattern, no matter how expensive the shell or the dilegence of the maker for perfection. (and we buy cheap shells... LOL)

Right now my kids shoot trap, skeet, 5 stand and sporting clays (which they didnt do yesterday) with the same guns/chokes. I would like to find a happy medium so there is less changing/switching of chokes and or guns. mostly for my pocketbooks sake- those chokes are EXPENSIVE!! - but they need to learn lead, fall, and distance before I start tweaking anything else. IMHO. Skeet and especially trap are pretty much applied math and geometry- There is skill, learned and natural- and there is gun performance, but both, especially gun cost can be overcame with proper teaching and practice.

And yes, the 10 for 10 was amazing! even the 8 for 10- cause my kids are 12 and 13- the highest score under the 10, 9 and 8, were ONE 6- everyone else was lower.

Its a 105 ft tower with throwers on it. they had it set at about 60 ft. and were throwing report doubles.
