This thread has strange voodoo peer pressure powers of suggestion!!!Things I have done in the last month or so directly related to reading this thread:1. Re-floored a bathroom and replaced a toilet.2. Planted waayyyy more veggies than my whole neighborhood will eat.3. Countless google searches. Some ending in purchases.4. Traveled hundreds of miles to visit a family member because some in this thread really want to and cannot, and I felt guilty not taking advantage of the fact that I can. 5. Visited the local coal mine to finish up my Christmas shopping.6. The coup de grace - broke down and bought the spaghettios my daughter is always asking for, used my P-51 to open them, then did a mental victory dance when she took one bite and asked for something else - yep - those MUST be a guy thing! Have a great weekend you powerful chatters you!!!(I'm considered quite independent IRL, no really!)

Yeah I still like them. Only 2 things to be aware of.
#1the 1.8 burn your lip because they sit so close to the mouthpiece. Go with the 2.4's
#2 be sure to get the ones with the updated mouthpiece. The first version had problems with them coming apart at the threads.
Goodprophets has them with the updated mouthpiece. He actually even sent me replacements for the ones I bought earlier

The new long wick viva novi tanks rock too they're just not pocket friendly like the CE4's

All these replaceable/rebuildable new toys are going to make vaping super cheap. Well, at first it might be costly to go with rebuildable (though some are very reasonble), but in the long term, very cheap. There will be tons of them soon. Quite a few now.

Thanks Lox (((((hugs))))) I've got a new vape store in town, RW Vapers, and got to try out a CE4 Clear cartomizer this past week and liked it. Favors a bit muted, but overall its worked really well all week on an ego twist. I've pretty much avoided all CE2s through the years but it seems as though the newer CE4's have finally got a lot of the kinks worked out of them and are finally worth using. I haven't given the new nova novi's any thought yet but I'll keep them in mind.

I agree B, (((((hugs))))) replaceable and/or rebuildables attys are our future. Loved the rebuildable attys I've tried so far

I've got several people waiting for my recommendations on what to purchase for their second attempt at vaping so I'm checking out some stuff before I give them a list of what to purchase. Their first attempt was with over priced under producing stuff that left them unsatisfied and frustrated. They didnt think they'd ever give it another try, but after hearing I'd been successful for almost two years they've decided its worth another try so I want to be sure I give them stuff that will give them the best chance at success this second time around

Joy, I started some folks out recently on the eGo/ce4 combo. They have been doing really well. I did send atty's too and now they've found that they like dripping more. Maybe not the act of dripping, but the flavor and hit. The ce4's do definitely mute flavor though I've had some strong flavors in mine and they've been decent. I just drip most of the time now because it just tastes better and the hit is great. I use my Zen gear when I'm able to relax with no kids around, but otherwise, I'm walking around with a ProVari/atty combo and a bottle of juice in my pocket.

(I need lower ohm attys for my Vmodxl or need to get it Kicked, I'm back to being spoiled by VV again )

Yes, VV does make it tough to use anything else I've got my buzz pro, VVPV, oldgoat VV (cool for $50, same 14500 batteries as VVPV), picked up a twist to play with (and for times where there is risk of loss, like diving). My only non-VV is the beautiful RSM Mark 9 bottom feeder; that one just plain looks nice at work. For DW I ended up getting a simple eGo 900; she likes my strawberry cheesecake, substitutes low nic level for coffee and soda caffeine, simple and no biggie if it gets trashed or lost.

OG might become a PIF package. It does work quite well, more compact/lighter than my VVPV setup, excellent intro to both VV and feeders. I'm just not using it much, the buzz pro is the default workhorse for general rugged conditions (I use a little Nemo flashlight holster, clips to a belt loop), with VVPV preferred for kick-back high quality VV (the stack on it just looks slightly too funky for work). I have another spare Trustfire charger, an unused generic 510 2.5 ohm atty, ... might put together a full little starter set.

Buzz Pros, sure. Mass-produced overseas product? Not so much... (It doesn't mean there is anything faintly bad about the VMax, but I know the safety features and design of the notcigs gear. At least the original VMax price point was about the same as an Infinity Pro, so it just had nothing compelling for me.)

The difference being I'm not trusting my face to a Chinese engineer knocking off a provari then having it built by 10 year olds working for a bowl of rice.
I thought it might be good for work when I don't want to carry a provari. I think I'll stick to my echos

Yeah, I'm not saying anything negative about ANY mod, I simply said it didn't appeal to ME because I don't like to stack batts. I'd much rather deal with high capacity cells, in the single variety.
