This morning was the first official soccer practice for the 4yo girls. That went well. Kick *pick up* *SQUIRREL* kick *sit down* *SQUIRREL* kick kick *tangle* *SQUIRREL*...

And then the girls all start trading shoes and socks and shinguards while parents frantically try to figure out what's going on. Two little girls decided they needed to trade shorts but thankfully not underwear.

Thank you Dark for the link to the calorie tracker. After entering in some of my regular recipes and looking up some of my favorite snacks I have figured out what's been going on. I had no idea that peanut butter has as many calories as actual butter. :shock: Apparently, at some point, I started equating fat with calories. I've been mistakenly thinking that things with little to no fat automatically have few calories. This is not the case. I have regularly been consuming nearly 1000 calories just for dinner. :facepalm: So hopefully I'm on my way to finally losing some :censored: weight. I just hope eating less food over all gets easier after a while. I used to never have an appetite. Now, however, it's a little more difficult than I expected.

In other news. Magnus, I missed you. I had been checking this thread far less often after you left. :wub:

And Keyzy, Be careful, and don't get blown away.

Yeah, water is a hard one for me. I never drink enough. Even in boot camp, we were supposed to drink 8 canteens a day. I drank maybe one. Winter is easier. I drink lots of herbal tea. Water instead of a second glass of wine with dinner will probably help the calories though. :p

BTW, I'm loving the app for this on my phone. It's a brave new world folks. I can look up menu items at fast food places and figure out what I can get and stay in my allowed calories all in line at the drive through.
