Education is needed in the political sector, the medical sector, and the public sector.

My legislators (Blumenthal, Murphy, etc.) have likely been using my mail as laughingstock for their nights out drinking.

I can almost hear my Dick laughing with every response it writes me.

Eh, don't bother. I wrote to him and Gillibrand when the deeming regs came out and didn't even get a stock "thank you for sharing your opinion with us" form letter that usually gets generated.

Bummer! I wrote to both of my Virginia senators and did get nice replies. That is the least they can do.

My daughter spent last night in the hospital and I stayed with her. I was vaping off and on while there. The doctor walked into the room (a private room, BTW) while there were a few clouds in the air around me. He gave me an odd look but said nothing. I am not sure he knew what he was seeing. *blush*

What they need to worry about is whip-its. My 13 yr old explained what that is and how easy it to buy. That’s what’s going on with kids today, not ecigs.
You're a little late to the game. Those have been around (at least) since I was a teenager in the late 70s.
Probably the safest thing we did back then.

What I’m getting at is with the age group that my child is in, that is what’s popular. They are not interesting in ecigs. ( not yet)
There is a lot more stuff out there to “save the children “ besides ecigs.

I doubt whip its were the safest thing you were doing, I mean you have to sleep sometime, right? Also, from my understanding nitrous oxide really isn't that good for you. I base this on (very little) research, but I have met quite a few dentists and Grateful Dead followers in my time. They're not all smart, but they all have access to nitrous oxide. It's not even really offered around here anymore, sedation's the big thing.... Although, I will say I tried Nitrous oxide once (while having my wisdom teeth dug out) and I had the scariest hallucination ever-- I was travelling down from my brain, via my brain stem to my heart, and noticed it was beating slower and slower. I was quite sure when I blacked out, I'd be dead (it was oddly realistic, anatomy wise) and ripped the mask off while screaming at the top of my lungs, they just injected me with something to knock me out after that.

It didn't help that my dentist was a dead ringer for the actor on Twin Peaks. Nope, it did not. Which, yay, as apparently my brain needs all the help it can get....

You're Joking.

Right?

Nope! It was a private room and late. They usually knock but he didn't. I will never see him again, and I was wildly stressed.
Oh, I hope your daughter is OK. My best wishes to her and you. Having your child be ill and hospitalized, regardless of age, is incredibly stressful.

Thank you. She will be okay. She was released this morning. She is a blistered rash on her legs with some infection. It is very painful but they don't think it is serious. The big question is what caused it so we have a consult with a dermatologist in the morning. I hope she can figure it out. This one is not a trooper when it comes to pain.

Gotcha.

But just like I'm sure that Schumer knows All About the Deeming Regs, I'm sure you Doctor knew you were using an e-Cigarette.

And Very Good to hear that your Daughter is OK. And is home now.

"This measure closes another dangerous loophole in the law, creating a stronger, healthier New York for all."

NY is strong and healthy? Last time I went I had to bring an oxygen tank, and NO not due to e-cigs, not due to smog, I couldn't afford to breathe the air.

Srsly. I'm not just talking NY city either, last time we were travelling through the rest of the state and ANY awesome State Park or Event, seems like there was a tax on it. Zero packs of cigarettes were purchased, and it was really hard to afford the gas to pull the RV we had. Great state completely ruined by taxation, we have avoided it Every Time in vacations after that. I personally think it's worse than CA, but I personally think a lot of things.

I doubt vaping outdoors is gonna make NY stronger OR healthier....
