I have the 808 from 1 co. and now ordering from Smokeless Image. Will the sizes be compatible? I was wanting to get a clearomiser for home. I have the 78mm bat from SI. Will their clearomiser fit on the 78mm bat because the clearomisers the have in ad says it will fit the x2. So confused...Am I right in thinking that all a clearomiser does if hold the juice and easy to see how much juice you have?

Welcome to ECF! 808 threading is a standard so what works on one should work on the other. What you may have compatibility with is resistance. I don't know what voltage the 808 you have from "1 co." but I know the X2 is 3.6V and I find clearomizers below 2.0 ohms on it taste almost burnt. Stay between 2.0 and 2.5 and you should be good on the X2.

Whatever site you are buying from should say the threading size(808/510) that something is. You also want to know the Ohms of the device which should also be clearly stated when buying. I believe that anything cigarette shaped cannot handle Low Resistance and you should be getting cartomizers/cleromizers that are at least 2.0 Ohms.

All a cleromizer is a different delivery system than a cartomizer. A bonus is that yes, it does let you see how much liquid is it making refilling much easier and more accurate. It is not the same as a cartomizer.

You could share a link to the product you are looking to buy, that would be helpful for others trying to answer your question.

the company I bought from first is: Electronic Cigarette & E Cigarette Products by PremiumECigarette.com . It popped up first before I know what I was looking for so I got the kit. I have the PR-111 for heavy smokers. I can not find anywhere that states the ohmns of the battery. I have a new Volt kit coming tomorrow. I am hoping for a better e-cig. As you see it was quite costly but at the time I did not have a clue as to what I was doing...lol

The smokeless image clearomizer will work on a 78mm battery. It looks funny because the collar is wider than the battery, but it works. Check out my video on the cartos, clearos and ce3's. It shows how the SI clearo works in the small battery

Have you considered the ce3 (also known as the phoenix). It gives you the best of both worlds. It's the size of a cartomizer, holds as much juice as a clear, you can see the juice level, gives awesome vapor, doesn't leak a drop and works and fits perfectly on the 78mm battery. Smokeless image just started selling them yesterday for $10 a box and you can use the coupon YOURVOLT00 for another 15% off, bringing the cost to $8.50. They last 2-3times longer than a carto and are easier to clean than the clearomizer.

MrOutlaw, I watched you video and was so impressed..I think it should be a sticky. That video and alittle research was the reason I decided to order the Volt which I am happy to say will be here tomorrow. I am going to trust you and order the ce3's after my order comes so I can decide which juices to order. Thank you all so much. I am happy to say that vaping has lead me to be smoke free for 1 week...YAY. With the help of this forum and the support of my family I know I will never go back to anologs!

Thank you so much, it's comments like that that are the reason I keep making them. If I can help one person not make a mistake that I did and save some money,it's worth it.

Congrats on 1 week. It may not seem like a lot to some people, but we know it is. One day at a time and one vape at time, before you know it, you'll be a month then two months and so on. After 4 months, I can't even stand the smell of an analog.

Coming from experience on the stick 808's, I pushed a 2oHm Kanger clearo on my auto and manual v2 batteries (4.2volt at 250mAh) and it sucked that battery dry in no time flat, even made the blue activation LED kinda glitch out like a Terminator eye instead of its standard "dead blink". I did this against recommendation of "Don't do it" from the ECF community because I am a curious person... I was nervous while doing it believe me. Those 5 or so hits were incredible but have opted to not do that again as to not mess up my backup batteries or witness an explosion. I have since moved on to one bada$$ 808 from TheVaporGirl running at 1300mAh. It has no problem on those Kangers but it could be too powerful for the smaller build clearo's, possibly burning the juice, again this was a curiosity as well...

After posting I looked up and believe one post up is the person that warned me, you were right, I should have listened
