"clearomizer" round up for 808s...

I'm on their mailing list also, but never got anything from them.

I got an email from GotVapes today stating their fluxos are back in stock. But I'm so happy with the Volt clearos right now, I'm not sure if I should order some

I was ready to pull the trigger on the echo and get a few of Volts clearo's, then I saw a thread about the new VV ego-C twist coming out soon. Heck, I may pull the trigger and get both anyways, you can never have enough options/backups.

These ce4+ just don't work right with autos. By the second to third pull there is an odd congested draw. The volt or the cone skirted ones seem to be the worst ones. I don't get quite a congested draw with the flat connection of the echo versions but these seem better suited for manual batteries.

Gotvapes has the ce4 shells so with the ce2 ultimates and a few shells, I'm set for awhile. Till those new version ce3s come out in 808 version

The wife just got a new vanilla from Highbrow and she had a newer stardust cleaned and ready.
What she didn't know was I had a freshly broken in & clean CE3 ready with a nice psychedelic pink/purple drip tip to match her pink kgo ready aslo.
I put it up waiting for that moment when she was tired of fighting her CE4+'s. I've been trying to convert her to CE2's for a while now, but she liked the easy fill and not having plugs/seals to remove.
So I have hopes the easy fill CE2 supreme's might be just the ticket.

Well, it happened, she was fighting the stardust. Smoke was getting in the tube; juice was leaking through the wicks. She was blowing it out; trying to pull the seal; wiping the bottom and repeating. She is down to 4 stardust and they were all full.
I asked if she wanted to try one of mine and she agreed. I filled the CE3 with highbrows vanilla bean decadence and gave it to her. After a few minutes of use, she said that she didn't like the juice, but she didn't say anything about the CE3, so I'm taking it as a good thing.....lol.

I have high hopes for these new CE2+'s and Bad said they will have the bottom coils in next week.
The easy fill is for the wife as I always fill with a syringe. I was filling with a new 30ml bottle once and the drip cap popped off and 25+ ml. of juice went everywhere. Plus with the syringe, I use it to measure juice when I mix them.

Ditch the top hat and drip tip, insert a CE2 ribbed plug and a standard cartomizer mouthpiece, voila, no more congested draw

And you're right, on manuals this is less prone to happen

gotta love that Highbrow. Their exotic blend and french pipe spell a quick death for my echomizers but I can't help putting them in there. The two just work so well blended together. Thank the vaping gods for clearos and the ability to dry burn.

The issue I have with CE2's is: As I vape with them, the juice gets darker/thicker. I have thought that this might be either the heavier nicotine or heavier flavorings.
I tested 2 new juices tonight, both using new .9ml CE2's & Atomizers.
They are ECblend's-New Red Box & Highbrowvapor's-tabac de Perique.

The quick and dirt
In the CE2:
~New Red Box, was similar to a cigarette, but soon tasted like mop water.
~tabac de Perique, was more of a tobacco cigarette tone, but again, I taste mop water.

In the Atomizer w/ bridge:
~New Red Box, A nice regular cigarette taste. No mop water.
~tabac de Perique, a richer tobacco type cigarette and no mop water aftertaste.

*each juice had it's own CE2 & atomizer.

I have yet to compare in CE3's, but that will be next. I have noticed that after 3-5 fill ups in the CE3's, the juice will get thicker/darker compared to the CE2's 1 or 2 fill ups. This leads me to believe that the wicks might have a hard time wicking certain parts of the juice and/or they are wicking certain parts faster which may lead to the 'mop water' taste.

I like both of these jooses, for that cigarette vape, but they will no longer go in a CE2.
Now I need to clean a few CE3's and see how they compare to atomizers.

That was one of the first mods I came up with. It is attempt to suck the vapor through that cone that causes the congestion. There are other things that work better like the soft tip of a kr8 carto. But there's a lot if space between the plug and mouth so it becomes a situation of take a toot, blow out the condensation, take a toot....repeat. I just don't know why there has to be so much space between the coil and mouthpiece on these. Better wicking maybe due to the tapered shell but I've had no issue with wicking with the ce2 guts inside and the coil pushes up to the top all the way.

seems like it would let in too much juice. You talking about when they have been replaced with fatter wick or just being careful not to set it down horizontally? It's a moot point for me too as most of them house ce2s but I still have some for my kgo and volt battery that don't fit the ce2 guts I have. The flat bases have me wrapping my hand around the gap for a good draw. I either need to get some smaller ce2s to fit cone threads or maybe a shorty cone cover.

Yep. It does seem like it would let in too much juice, but when pulling my plug up, or going plugless, I've tried to induce a flood by tipping horizontal and letting the juice in the slits, and it just doesn't happen. Only time I get a flood is if I go above horizontal and let the juice flow up towards the mouth end, then it gets onto the coil and bam

And for my part this has all been with single thick wicks. Dunno. Maybe magic?

If you want regular size ce2s, get on gotvapes before they all sell out. you can get 2.4-2.6 ohms regulars to your hearts content! 2.5 is your true love in ohms land right? :)

I just ordered two batches of the xls and five ce4 shells so I'm good. I have to be good. Between my massive order of DIY stuff and that, I should lay low for awhile. Maybe I'll experiment and get a pipe cutter. I can cut down the center post of a ce2 or perhaps make my own thread cover and still enjoy 2mls at a time.

Think I'm going to freeze until I see those ce3s in 808 cone version. I'm not even going to get a jump on them and try the tube510 version first. That says something about self control, baby.

Yes sir, I use them on my Volt/Halo G6 whenever I want to vape hands free and look like a cigarette smoking dirt bag! :)

I've even used one that I rewired to 2.0 ohms on the Volt and it KICKS. You're going to be happy. And I take it you have the new ones with the easy fill plugs, so you don't have to worry about annoying modding and what not. Make sure you tip to horizontal now and then and report back for us!
