little update

E1: best flavor of my new clearos. wicking, not so much. tore down a head and rebuilt it with cotton, much better :)

T2: almost as good as the flavor from the E1. wicking is better though somehow. so is airflow. Threw an extra piece of cotton over the stock coil and its perfect. The flavor difference may just be due to the drip tip that you have to use, vs. the stainless steel drip tip I've thrown on the E1.

Iturbo II: not as good as the above, but better than the stardusts for sure. It looks like a vivi nova head. Identical. I haven't verified that yet though. Bad news is, it has that disgusting rubber grommet that burns up when you vape, just like the vivi. This one hasn't burnt on me though. I will nevertheless be rebuilding it with NR wire. Enjoyed my Echo for the first time in a while last night.

Mini Vivi: disgusting. piece of garbage. instant burning grommet, like nothing I've ever tasted before. I took it apart and verified...yup, the grommet was lighting up. To make it even better, the 2.4 ohm head reads at a steady 3.1 ohm. No problem fixing this piece of crap, but come on, easily the worst out the box experience I've ever had from a clearo.

Thanks for the update CV, my T2s are coming today, now Kanger has the bottom coil T3 coming out.

I was leary of the mini vivi and since the follow items can share the same heads, I figure the main difference between them would be the amount of juice they hold with air flow path being the only thing that could be a difference in the vape.

From Discount Vapers:
Universal Clearomizer Coil Head

This coil head fits:

Vivi Nova (not the mini)
Thor Clearomizer
CE4 Rebuildable Clearomizer (CE5)
Vision 2.0 Rebuildable Clearomizer

Like bobalex pointed out the M3, I haven't heard anything negative and I may give them a try. I like carrying around 5-7 flavors anyway for change up. I did use my 808's the other day, I forgot how impressive those little suckers are and sometimes mini just fits my needs.

I've been using these for a week straight now just to see how they measure up to the vaping fun I've had with the Go-go tanks.

ELITE 808 CLEAR AND EASY TANKS 2.0

I've tried all the 808 "tanks" and they all had something that kept me from using them all the time. Flavor drop offs and leaking eventually made me go back to cartos. Which wasn't a bad thing. The Elite Carto is a wonderful vape.

But Things Have Changed!

The TH is spot on, Flavor is phenomenal, and vapor is ... well ... vapor. Lots of it. Tanks, Clearomizers, whatever you want to call them, have finally delivered. I can't go back to cartomizers after this. No leaking, no "dry" hits, no negatives to report. And they look pretty dang cool on the Elite. All you Bloog and V4L guys have got to try these.

Ummm...these do sound pretty interesting. Tell me please, can those end caps come off enabling us to use our own drip tip?
They look a bit different, but it could be I'm getting cross-eyed reading ad nauseam about so many different tanks, clearos and the like.

I believe you have to use the supplied tip as it acts as a top seal also.
Here is a site with some close up pics and you can choose 808/510.....link.

CV, I posted my T2 comments in the clearo section, I like the short wicks; hated the long wicks.
I cut the wicks and added the cup. It's better and I may add some extra wick also.

OMGosh! Lots of colors!!!!! I have been using these M3's the past week! (Well not steady as I have 'em on my 78 volts - but I love them! They work beautifully so far!!! Mine were in a 5 pack - clear only - from Stormy's Vapor Celler $13.99 plus $4 flat rate shipping. I only bought the one package - to try them.

Bobalex: WHERE oh WHERE did you get yours in soooo many COLORS????!!!!???

ETA: the only thing I noticed was condensation building up in the upper part where you seperate to fill it. It hasn't been a problem so far. A couple times I used a Q-tip to remove it.

I also tried the Elite 808 XL carto - they were VERY short lived for me. I don't believe I had very heavy VG ratioed juice in them either. Definitely not ALL of them! They worked best on the manual X2's from Smokeless Image. It seems hard to find stuff to use on the 808 threaded battery's ...

I'm just not totally sold on the Volt X2 (Vision/starburst type) Clearomizers - even with the longer wicks. Doesn't seem to take long (a week or so?) and it's either a leak or not getting much by way of Vapor OR Flavor. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. At most a couple have 50/50 pg/vg - usually less leaking with more VG than the standard 80/20 SI juice. Can these be cleaned? Easily? Well let me rephrase that: I did "clean" by soaking overnight in Vodka. Can they be "Dry burned" w/o ruining them to be sure any gunk is cleared off?

ETA 2: Found them for $11 / 5 pk here: http://www.healthcabin.net/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1019&products_id=8073

You haven't tried the top coil pheonix. Figured these might be ok. Well....no burning so can't be as bad but what they did to hide the wire was scrunch the coil to one side and go down the center air flow with the wire!!! Annoying draw and an absolutely wonderful line for the juice to follow. All leak....all have absolutely no use except to tear them apart and resolder the wires where they should have gone. Instead, I threw them out. YES> I THREW THEM ALL OUT!

Right here:

ELITE 808 CLEAR AND EASY TANKS 2.0

So far I've yet to find a negative with these. I love the Elite ... I love these tank-ettes ... and finally Ease of Use is matched by performance.

I've been using these for a couple months (first saw them as a new item on healthcabin)

I love them, BUT.. BUTTTT and please maybe some other people can help me figure this out.... Cracking problems. It appears these are polycarb, but no one has said either way. I've had five crack on me, all 5 of my first pack, but they all had the same juices in them (Ecblends Dragons blood) They hit well, taste great, fill easy... But if they explode at random with certain juices... They are just too pricey (even from Healthcabin!) to be cracking left and right even if they are awesome.

Seems like EVERY clearo i have tried for my 808 dissapoints. ce2 hits dry and has to be fiddled with constantly, stardusts don't taste as good as regular old BOGE cartos, and these seem to crack. Would love more info if anyone has any experience with these Kanger m3's.

the CE3's from smokeless image appear to be of similar design. They are slim and hold 1 ml of juice. I was using all 5 of them with various juices since i purchased them. i stopped using one of them after it stopped vaping well. 2 of them leaked slightly from the bottom while sitting with juices in them, no cracking. In other respects they worked great. A five pack kit is $8.49 with the SIVOLT50 discount code. it is a good value IMO and i get USPS parcel delivery in a few days for about $2.

Thats not a bad price. Are those bottom coils or just a rebadged version of the kanger m3? I wonder if they are made of a different plastic...

Honestly if they could make these things with a plastic that wasn;t reactive, i would probably use these exclusively.

Uh cyrus the Dragons blood is kinda a strawberry cream thing with dragons fruit. It's mostly sweet fruity and smooth so i'm SERIOUSLY confused about how it is conan the destroyer of tanks. I read something about some additives in certain flavors like malic acid or some such? I assume i would not be able to taste something like that through all the fruit and sweet.

How do i petition kanger to make these with like polypro inside them at least? =-D

*sigh*

All the units with a condom seal at the top have given me problems

With the fluxo, this was easily fixed

With the stardust types, not so much. I tried various incarnations of making cuts in the condom, lifting it up, all which helped more or less, but never produced a fully reliable unit that could truly wick at my vaping pace and preferred juice viscosity

Great minds infected with the cottonitis finally inspired me to stop jerking around with the silicon and rather open up the wick lots

Duh. Can't believe I didn't think of this before. Why worry about making space ABOVE the wick when you can make space AROUND the wick?

I've bored out the wick slots on my E1 and Mini Vivi to 3.17 mm (with a 1/8th inch round needle file)

Both set up now with fat cotton wicks (8 strands bamboo in one, cheesecloth in the other) and I have to say its the best cheap vape I've ever had, period. Even better, I don't HAVE to run 10 or higher watts or more to get the results I want, the vapor is so thick and the TH is so beastly at 9ish that I'm fine staying there, though they handle 10 or higher beautifully. And they truly wick. Not absorb juice when you tilt your PV and throw juice at them, but truly, wick.

I can't wait to do this to my fluxos and 808 stardust types when I get home. Fluxos will require a diamond tipped grinder so as to not explodez the ceramic cup of course. And finally I'll be able to start using my Echo again with an attie that's worthy of its fatty goodness.

CV, once you get done, you will have to tell us what your favorite setup is. I need to try the cheesecloth, but my cotton/mesh setup is working really well.
Also, what's your favorite out-a-box device to date.
I was debating on getting either the Nova/mini or E1. The T2's seem to work for now, but I like to try different devices.

The cheesecloth wick is a little bigger than it looks on that third pic, its just pushed over. The cuts in the silicon are from previous failed attempts. Ironically they don't seem to contribute anything (flood or otherwise) even if they are exposed.

When its time for a wash/rebuild I'll post naked slots ;)

Of any unit on planet earth that I own? :)
