Yepster it's made from a metal ce2 and a bottle oh and a 5/8 od beveled washer to. There is a thread about them on here somewhere.
It vapes awesome. It really surprised me because I do own a couple of MAP tanks and really like those, but this puts them to shame vapor wise.
I have one of the bottle tanks and I like it a lot, but I've been using my MAP tank ever since Vapefest when I watched mine get made from start to finish

How the heck do you replace the xl ce2 on the tank??? Mine seems stuck....ready to break out my tool kit but I just don't want to break anything.

So I did not know if this should go here, but I was wondering....I am allergic or something to regular cartos (must be the filler) so I always go back to my eGo-T Tanks. That being said has anyone tried a SmartCart 2.0? How are they? Thinking I might have the same problem with those? I like stuff that's simple, easy to fill, I can see how much is left, and I can vape on it awhile. Dripping is too messy for me. So any advice or insight would be great.
mad vapes has royal smokers clearomizers in stock in various ohms and threads. a friend ordered some and is going to give me a sample 510XL@ 2.4 ohm to try, I will post my thoughts.
i've never used a "cartomizer", but before my Reo's I would use a fluxomizer (clearomizer XL) on my joye 510's all of the time. I've NEVER had one crack on me. Since being flamed for asking for a tank on PIF, my husband made me a 5ml tank (this was a while back, & i've got it hooked up to the spark plug now. I've always loved the XL clearomizers, & love this tank on the spark plug even more.

okay, finally I can see what I am doing with the clearo- (which was my biggest reason for wanting one- I dont taste juice anyway, so improved flavor doesnt help me any. )
I filled my syringe up with 1.8ml- I stuck it down in the cotton, you could see the shadow of the needle, and before I even pushed in .02ml I had a huge droplet come out from the male threaded end onto my hand.
Every once in a while I would get a great vape no matter what I used, carto, cart, drip tip, but 85% of the time I either get no taste, or very little anything. I have been bound and determined to not give up.
I have known all along it was a carbon based error- I just dont know what the hell I am doing wrong. its not rocket science.
It got a little better when i went from 510's to Riva/egos- But, ......
I know I shouldnt complain too much, I fiqure I am getting the right amount of nicotine, because I havent killed anyone yet, but i want to enjoy the vape. I loved my cigartettes- and I dont want to go back to tabacco tasting prefilled carts. they just seem like a waste of money.
And maybe if its such a PITA, I can even get the vaping monkey off my back- but I know me- I HAVE to smoke- I am just weak minded-
Anyway- WTF? the same thing was happening with black or silver cartos- BUT, I couldnt be sure i was doing it right. cause I couldnt see anything. Now I can, and I still am screwing up. LOL
OH and I managed to burn my first one- Took it apart, and the cloth that is wrapped around each dual heated thing, its got a burned spot. and I kept it so wet I was getting juice half the time.

When you're filling it, move your needle up as you go, the juice is just going in one spot too fast and doesn't have time to soak in the filler....move your needle around while you fill, little juice here, little juice there...should help.
I took one apart too, and let me tell you, I vaped the holy hell out of this thing and it's got the same spots you see, but it's not "burnt", there's no burn hole, it's just the juice cooked into that hot spot at the coils. (is that what yours is too?) I was able to scrape it off with my thumb nail for the most part. Rinsed everything off, dried it all and put it back together, vaping like new.

Glad I didnt burn it, and no, there is no burn hole, adn it didnt SMELL burnt, I could actually smell the flavor of juice on the brown spots. LOL

I recently got a Storm Tank from classies and I loved the idea of this tank mod so much and was hoping in a huge way that it would work well for me because, really, who doesn't want 4ml of juice sitting on their gear to vape away all day with?! It was working so-so and I was fairly happy with it until I kept getting juice in my mouth every other hit, ew. Soooo, I replaced the (quite awkward) original mouth piece with a shorty 306 drip tip and, BAM! All is well...it's hitting/wicking extremely well and not a drop of juice in my mouth, no matter how fast I vape it!

Thats cool!! Now, 'splain this- what do you connect it to? and compared to what I use now (large ego) what is the size differnce.?
Imma hunt you up a video. It's connected to my 510 mod, so any 510 threaded PV, but you know, gotta get the right ohms for your gear. Let me find you a video.
