This may be posted somewhere, but I'm sharing my experience anyway:
I recently got a Storm Tank from classies and I loved the idea of this tank mod so much and was hoping in a huge way that it would work well for me because, really, who doesn't want 4ml of juice sitting on their gear to vape away all day with?! It was working so-so and I was fairly happy with it until I kept getting juice in my mouth every other hit, ew. Soooo, I replaced the (quite awkward) original mouth piece with a shorty 306 drip tip and, BAM! All is well...it's hitting/wicking extremely well and not a drop of juice in my mouth, no matter how fast I vape it!
Placement of drip tip bottom over the ceramic cup. As you can see, the white ceramic cup is not seen at all, but it does NOT prevent wicking. (no one is more shocked than I)http://www.flickr.com/people/87267225@N00/
Also...no leaking:
No leak Storm Tank with 306 shorty drip tip. At this point, it had been upside down for more than 20 seconds, not one drop came out of it and not even a gurgle when I fired it back up. Win.http://www.flickr.com/people/87267225@N00/
Chelle, where'd you get that DT from??
You guys are making me want to try these. I've read through most of the clearomizer, storm tanks, map tanks and ce2 info and my head is still spinning.
ShanB now has Map tanks for sale at her site (ShanMods at VAPECORE). I'm so tempted to click checkout. Someone stop me!!!
Chelle- Can you let the chit-chat group know if you decide to sell your tank through the classys.
I do have to say these tanks are pretty sweet. Still drip sometimes but this good for my all days. Problem for me I'll get sick of the juice before I run out with my 4ml lol. I did get some 306 tips, cause I'm having the same juice problem Chelle did with it in my mouth. Hopefully that will help![]()
I'm looking at this: 10mL VC Tanker right now and I have to say that this makes more sense to me than any of the XL CE2's. The tube is wide vs tall...and that seems much more "right" for the wicking issue. However...the ohms on that thing are too low for a 5v for sure and truthfully, the 3.5ohm one that I have hits like a 3ohm at 5v (or slightly lower ohms even)...if you're vaping these at 5v, I personally wouldn't get anything advertised as less than 3.2ohm. For $12...if you're running 3.7v or eGo type batts, this is a nice deal!

I wonder, though, if bigger does equal better in this regard. 10ml is a lot! I agree the design looks fab!
Completely agree Chelle. I say the shorter the better. That seems to be the problem with the tanks is they don't wick after the first half.
