This may be posted somewhere, but I'm sharing my experience anyway:

I recently got a Storm Tank from classies and I loved the idea of this tank mod so much and was hoping in a huge way that it would work well for me because, really, who doesn't want 4ml of juice sitting on their gear to vape away all day with?! It was working so-so and I was fairly happy with it until I kept getting juice in my mouth every other hit, ew. Soooo, I replaced the (quite awkward) original mouth piece with a shorty 306 drip tip and, BAM! All is well...it's hitting/wicking extremely well and not a drop of juice in my mouth, no matter how fast I vape it!

Placement of drip tip bottom over the ceramic cup. As you can see, the white ceramic cup is not seen at all, but it does NOT prevent wicking. (no one is more shocked than I)http://www.flickr.com/people/87267225@N00/

Also...no leaking:

No leak Storm Tank with 306 shorty drip tip. At this point, it had been upside down for more than 20 seconds, not one drop came out of it and not even a gurgle when I fired it back up. Win.http://www.flickr.com/people/87267225@N00/

Chelle, where'd you get that DT from??

So, something I noticed. I vape 2ml out of it and it's all vaping bliss, then I get the "dryish" taste every 4 or 5 hits...and of course I just refill it at that point cause no one likes that taste. I wonder if the 2ml wick the whole 2ml or if it's one ml then add a ml, such as this 4ml is vape 2ml, add 2ml. Anyone have some experience with the 2ml Storm?

I have been using the Royal Smokers CE2XL from Madvapes since the 5th and here are my thoughts and experiences.

1. The flavor and vapor is great.

2. No burnt taste

3. I also love being able to load up with 1.5 ml of juice ( the web site claims a 2.5ml capacity but I have filled 4 and all have held 1.5).

4. The instructions included were apparently for the original Ce, They said to remove the top plug and put juice in one of the 2 holes in the silicone piece around the ceramic cup. I removed the plug and looked for the holes but they weren't there! The instructions didn't show the second piece that has to be removed to reveal the holes. If I hadn't watched a video on ytube the night before I would have been totaly confused!

5. The worst thing about these is that after a couple of days is seams that juice seeps down between the o-ring at the base and the tube acting as a lubricant allowing the tube to slip easily. On one I started to unscrew it from the bat and grabbed it by the top of the tube like it was a regular carto and before I realized it twisted the wires around and broke one. On another one I took if out of my pocket and the tube slipped off the base and dumped about a ml of my favorite juice all over.:_(

All things said if I can figure out a cure for #5 I will continue to use these as they are great otherwise! I guess I will have to rember to be gentler with these, I generally use things pretty hard.

I truly love the concept of this Storm tank...it's nothing to do with the tank construction/quality, but for me, one dry hit and my throat is tore up for 2 days. Same thing happens to me w/ a dry hit in an atty. I both love and hate this thing! The one I have is 3.5ohm and vapes amazingly well at 5v, but seriously, one dry hit and I'm bummin'. It's always going to happen...they are not "perfect wickers". It's back to duals and Boges for me for now...but I have hope for the future of tanks and CE2's.

You guys are making me want to try these. I've read through most of the clearomizer, storm tanks, map tanks and ce2 info and my head is still spinning.
ShanB now has Map tanks for sale at her site (ShanMods at VAPECORE). I'm so tempted to click checkout. Someone stop me!!!

Chelle- Can you let the chit-chat group know if you decide to sell your tank through the classys.

I'm looking at this: 10mL VC Tanker right now and I have to say that this makes more sense to me than any of the XL CE2's. The tube is wide vs tall...and that seems much more "right" for the wicking issue. However...the ohms on that thing are too low for a 5v for sure and truthfully, the 3.5ohm one that I have hits like a 3ohm at 5v (or slightly lower ohms even)...if you're vaping these at 5v, I personally wouldn't get anything advertised as less than 3.2ohm. For $12...if you're running 3.7v or eGo type batts, this is a nice deal!

I do have to say these tanks are pretty sweet. Still drip sometimes but this good for my all days. Problem for me I'll get sick of the juice before I run out with my 4ml lol. I did get some 306 tips, cause I'm having the same juice problem Chelle did with it in my mouth. Hopefully that will help :)

I stand by the 306 drip tip fix on the Storm tank. Works great. :)

I wonder, though, if bigger does equal better in this regard. 10ml is a lot! I agree the design looks fab!

I don't know if bigger equals better, but for wicking purposes with a cup atty that's at the top of the mod, shorter is definitely got to be better. Gravity and all. :)

Completely agree Chelle. I say the shorter the better. That seems to be the problem with the tanks is they don't wick after the first half.

They're using the XL CE2's in tall tank mods and gravity is laughing. :p I am so tempted to get that short/fat tank...but will hold off...need to see some reviews. Anyone found any?
