Hello all. I recently ordered an epower from gotvapes. been using an overpriced prosmoke piece of crap and i'm sick of short battery life and leaky carts. So trying the epower 18650 with fluxomizers to start. I'm off of reg smokes, been over 2 weeks. excited about vaping, just trying to find something more satisfying and less fiddly so the reg smokes aren't so damned tempting

So I'm aware of the dangers with the 18650, If anyone who reads this has one and wants to share good or bad, please do. I'm nervous :\ The main concern of this post issss, the title.

So i went with fluxomizers, i don't know why, high capacity i suppose. I'm just wondering whats the difference in all of this stuff It's a little ridiculous, especially for a newbie. If anyone wants to say anything at all pleaseeee do. complaints, praises, explaining whats what, etc. all concerning pump carts, all the *****mizers, hybrid saphire??? <--- curious about this one and dual coil. Yes i understand it has two coils, but why is what i'm asking. Thanks in advance

The Deluxe Fluxomizers at Gotvapes aka CE3 SMokymizers are the new almost-clear ones that are not supposed to crack and leak. The old CE2 model which Gotvapes previously called Fluxomizer were the ones that people had a lot of cracking, leaking, falling apart with.

That's all I know. In general, so far most clear cartos seem to be for people willing to screw with them when they don't work right. They are not the most popular cartos (Boge plain stuffing cartos are most popular).

I have been vaping about two years now and have tried pretty much everything. Fluxomizers to cartridges, dripping etc. I have come full circle and I am now back to using 510 joye attomizers (although low resistance) with the regular stuffing in the cartridge like they come from the factory. I just top them off more often now but make sure to not overfill. I don't clean them or anything I also don't try and revive them, they really never seem to work right or for long after you do.

I have never had a problem with any of my mods that ran on 18650's you just always need to make sure to buy protected batteries. I would never run a big battery mod with an unprotected battery.

Good luck and enjoy.

I Love CE/anythings & have no problems with them working at all (& I only use 100% vg juice)
the only problems I have had with them is tube cracking (on the older versions) but they can be saved with the use of cut down syringes as tube replacement. Sounds like you ordered the new thicker tubes, so you will be fine.

some folks have "wicking" issues w/fluxomizers/clearomizers, I just pull out the inner rubbery cup out & replace the little doughnut & the mouth piece & they work great .Some people prefer to just pull the cup "up" alittle or to cut the wick notches out a little more . Maxomizers & Visions work as they are no need to remove little cup to use them.

You can read all this & more tips over in the GOTVAPES forum area

IMHO....the Maxomizers are the best/easiest to use so far of the ce/family they hold an amazing amount of juice & can still be cleaned etc.... I just retired one (wick broke off) after 6 weeks+ of constant daily use !!!

the fluxomizers/clearomizers (clear tube) are the little guys & the VISION is a huge clearomizer (clear tube) like the Maxomizer (clear tube encased in a protective housing w/window)

hope that helps ...& I hope you love them as much as I do !:vapor:

ps sorry I have not tried the sapphires or the epower ...so i'm not helpful there & I dislike attys/carts & "filler" type carto's always burn on me or just taste funky after a few days so I never use those & they just don't seem very cost effective to me.

fluxomizers/Clearomizers they the same thing "correct me if im wrong",Well i dont have a fond view on them to be honest i accualy hate them everything about them, much more of a cartomizer person myself. The reason i hate them is they wick horribly,i mean really terribly, they tast burnt, the a pian to fill they really just suck. The one in a million ocasion that you do indeed get a good hit its great, but thats very few in between. But thats just me so,give them a try and maybe you love them or maybe you feeel like me,I honestly wish i could attack a clearomizer in a burtal form. ;-)

I think the re-naming of standard types of cartomizers by gotvapes is a common marketing approach, but it leaves users unable to easily compare products. I use steel XL dual coils, available from a number of vendors including gotvapes. They work all day, no fiddling around, and the one I'm hitting on right now is a month old with only two cleanings. Sticking to pg-dominant juices and keeping them topped off seems to workbest and no dry hits. Good luck finding what works for you!

thanks guys. been puffin on the epwr here for a couple hours now, and well, i gotta say i'm lovin the thing. so much easier to get that satisfying th and vapor.

as for fluxomizers, been using them, and everything seems fine and dandy so far. I'm using mostly vg juice, no wicking problems so far. now i'm runnin on almost full tubes here, so we'll see what happens down the road, but so far, so good! :) Maybe it was just the 401 carts, but i got so many leaky issues, that i just can't bare to deal with them right now. more of a pain in the .... to fill them these things imo. these aren't so bad, considering how much they hold.

I was looking at those maximizers, i think i might have to try one then. the idea of having to do nothing to my pv all damned day just sounds good to me. It was easy to smoke 1 1/2 packs to 2 packs a day with analogs to get my nic, but so far with that little 401 its been a struggle. Glad i sucked it up and made the decision to carry around a big ol moddy type unit.

boges are giving me pure frustration too, though. i've been through about 30 of them in about 15 days. everything i try still ends up the same... a strong burning taste. it's so frustrating that i've been just smoking analogs lately. i've tried the dripping and syringe methods, and i can't figure it out.

Sounds like a wicking issue, what PG/VG blend are you using? I prefer a 80/20 myself, but on some of the lighter juices I'll do a 70/30 with no problems. Some of the dark juices or even super sweet flavors (especially if you opt for double flavoring) can gunk them up pretty quick. I'm vaping off a Boge 808 SR on my PT as I type this, and I've been on this carto for over a week, was originally filled with Waffle until I finished that bottle, now its Blueberry Muffin, its a super warm vape (I like my baked goods on the PT for that fresh from the oven feel) but no issues of burning at all.

Only other thing I can thing of besides a wicking issue is if you're using an LR carto on a higher voltage mod.

So far...out of all of the "izers" we get to pick from - I have yet to try the 510 version ... I think the CE2s? The new vortex for 808s rocks - it's the best of the clear versions I've dinked around with (G4's...G5's). The design is spot on - no leaking and the PITA factor is super low...maybe a little braver about going mobile with them - but for the most part - go mobile with cartos. Fluxomizers - for me..PITA factor super HIGH...plus it seems to be giving me burnt taste. I have some for both my Riva (750&1100) and for my 5v pass thru (808) and...can't say I would order again simply because they r a hassle for me.

I did get some mega clear cartos - and the things are ridonkulously HUGE.....makes my Riva look like a freak of nature. :D The dual coil clearomizers for 510 - really nice also and like em!

Hello Groundswell, and a late welcome. I am glad your E-power and fluxos are working well for you. As you can tell everyone has their favorites and feel strongly about them ;) I personally love the fluxomizers in the XL. If you run into wicking problems all you have to do is pull the plugs, fluff the wicks (pull them up a little, there are good videos on this), and replace the inner plug with the thin center one (grove side down and pushed all the way on the ceramic cup).
I like the Boge 2.0 and the Dcc when they are new but I just hate the constant topping off and that you can't clean them without a lot of hassle (and even then not so much). IMO you made an A+ choice.

I am considering either the E-power or a Kgo next time I need something. I am a little hesitant to get the E-power due to the size of the 18650 model but I may take the plunge anyway.

I orders elite 808 clear cartomizers at ELITE 808 CLEAR AND EASY TANKS I was wondering if these are comparable to anything else out there with a different name. Haven't tried them yet. Maybe if I can compare them to something I'll know if they are decent or problematic.

I did find KR808DM-1 ClearoCartos Wonder if they are the same thing more less.

Check these out...for the 808s - they are awesome!

If they start to taste funny below half full...just turn your PV upside down so the juice rewicks.
