Finally got to New Orleans, traffic was awful. Eating dinner at this place called "New Orleans Burgers and Seafood".

They have good burgers there...and yes traffic is always awful here! If you're gonna be in the French Quarter, there are lots of good restaurants there.

Gotta start up one! :p

Well then let's get this party started! Hey wait a minute...every one left...was it something I said? :p

Sure does.

But notice nobody ever comes to Reedley for the weekend. lol

And just where is Reedley...never heard of it. Of course, I've only been to San Diego and San Francisco, so I don't know a lot of places out there.
woo ho San Diego!

We plan on spending a lot of time in the French quarter. First stop tomorrow is Cafe Du Monde for some beignets.

They have really good beignets...you also need to get a muffaletta while you're here. Go to Central Grocery on Decatur St...not too far from Café Du Monde. They have the best ones around! :D

I loved San Diego...went there back in '06. Was a beautiful place.
Live here couldn't be happier (sorry dad). Used to live in central California but to Hell with that weather I'll pay for my cool calm and 72° weather!

Don't fall for anyone saying to you "I know where you got your shoes".....:)

I usually use the line "nice shoes..."

I've altered the recipe for Countryside a little. I started dripping a 3 weeks old small bottle I had left steeping and thought of a small change in ratios that'd incredibly boost it. The new formula was steeped 2 weeks and I loved it even though I'm not really into cigar flavors. Simply put, Countryside probably needs the most steeping time to let that bold strong cigar taste to mellow. I lowered the % of that cigar base a little bit, and put that % into the vanilla, honey, and almond. The results were amazing, it doesn't taste nearly any different, but it requires much less steeping time to mellow and if you let it steep longer it becomes extremely rich and earthy with a very pronounced sweetness from the honey and vanilla, while keeping a nutty aspect from the almonds.
