I killed my computer...well, I didn't kill it , but I knocked it out cold for a while. Lost all my bookmarks, so I'll have to see if I can hunt down your channels (you girls need to put links in your signatures, because sooner or later I'll do something stupid...again...and be lost for a while...again). I just can't leave well enough alone. That's how I roll.:headbang:

I don't think forum rules allow us to put the links there. :(

I wasn't thinking clearly. Of course, all my YouTube subscriptions were still in place, so I just had to logon. I seem to do this every time I get a new Operating System. I start tinkering around down in the bowels of the beast and eventually fiddle with something I shouldn't have fiddled with and *Poof*...dead in the water. Oh well it was about time to reformat my SSD anyway. I'll have to talk to the kind folks at Microsoft and explain the situation though. I seem to have wiped out my on-board activation key. That's okay; they've always been pretty understanding in the past. I've had to do this a few times. We're almost on a first name basis.:glare:

The phone call with Microsoft didn't go well. I blame global warming which, by the way, was engineered by those dastardly Narwhals just because they don't like getting trapped under a little Canadian Arctic sea ice where they can't breathe...the big babies...they think they're better than us.

Anyhoo, it looks like I'm shafted. I can't remember for sure, but all I can figure is that when I first built this computer, I must have originally installed a version of XP that I've since thrown in the trash because I was able to retrieve the original onboard product key with a VBS code and it doesn't match any of the product keys for my copies of 7, 8 or 8 Pro...unless...a Ninja Narwhal hacker! Shifty .......s.

All is not lost. I still have Linux

Oh by the way, I found out why my second monitor stopped working. I use my tv as my second, and apparently all 3 hdmi ports have suddenly gone out on it. :(
Sorry. Apparently, it's raining suck.

it was a royal PITA, but finally, after 8 hours, 3 Operating System installs, 192 updates, innumerable restarts and a couple disk clean-ups, I'm back to square one with a free and activated Windows 10 and I never want to see another "We're getting a few things ready" again. On the plus side, I got rid of all my junk I was hoarding...all the benchmarking, system analytics and monitoring programs, all those GIFs I thought were clever and just had to save and tons of other crap I didn't really need, but couldn't bring myself to delete or uninstall. The cycle of Obsessive/Compulsive collecting begins afresh.

Sometimes I think of wiping my PC and starting clean. Then I think of all the hours I spent hording all of the stuff I have saved and can't bring myself to erase it all.

I know, right? Oh well, I have a new plan...sort of like my old plan, but I can automate most of it now. I'm going to try and make better use of Google Drive, OneDrive, DropBox and my 1TB, USB 3 external hard drive. I already have all my music and a few movies on the external drive, but I've set up regular backups of my user files (which will include changes to Contacts, Desktop, Documents, Downloads, Favorites, Links, Music, OneDrive, Pictures, Saved Games, Searches and Videos on the internal SSD) to be put there as well. I'll probably screw it up and it will all have been for nothing though. It's what I do.

hey gang...

still playing around w/ the stm that came with the subox kit... specifically the rda that came with it.

i tellya what.. that bugger is pretty difficult to wick properly... but once you do... boy howdy! love this thing now! the occ .5 ohm coil was really nice.. just not airy enough for me.. although tbh the flavor was getting better and better in it...

but this rda.. w/ the stock coil.. and like i said.. wicked properly.. its great. never used an rta.. until now..

only issue is it guzzles da joooze... but since i make it myself now.. (sorry jc) its not too bad a burden...

Hey, Soulman. Good to hear you're having a good experience with your investment.

If you feel Tank Fever coming on and start getting an irresistible urge to purchase another tank, I can vouch for everything this guy has to say:

It seems a little pricey, but its actual value exceeds its cost, IMO. Not sure why it isn't, but I think it should be getting more buzz than it is. Maybe it seems too intimidating for the average vaper. I'm not smart enough to be intimidated. If vaping is also a hobby for you and you enjoy tinkering with the gear, I think you would enjoy this. Lots of options to play around with.

i might check that out.. pretty happy right now... id say im more content than i have been w/ any gear and juice solution that i have yet stumbled across. it really is nice.

Very cool, but you know as well as anyone, remaining content with the gear you have, regardless of how great it is, is at best a difficult proposition to maintain and most likely only a temporary phenomenon.
