I have to be careful. If I get started on something or someone I can get pretty cruel. Idiot just doesn't cut it. I'll leave it at that.

I have days that my "nice' filter is clogged or something and just malfunctions. Then I try to just walk away but at times that doesn't happen either. Hubby says my mouth should be considered a lethal weapon

in a restaurant one day, really bad service, I left 2 cent tip, waitress thought she would get the best of me while at the register she brings it up to me sets it on the counter and says if that's all I can afford I should keep it. I handed it back and told her honey you might want to keep it, it's probably the biggest and only one you'll get as long as you give service like you did today. Turned around and asked loudly, anybody else agree. about half the place clapped. She stormed to the back crying. The manager followed me out and ask what had happened. I told him when I have to refill my own coffee cup twice and a couple of the other patrons cups as well I wasn't going to suger coat the truth especially on my last time there ever. He offered my money back and free dinner coupons I told him to give it to her to tide her over in the unemployment line unless she was providing him with other services to keep her around and left.

I don't know why, but I avoid my DIY juices touching metal until they hit the tank. Not sure if it makes any difference, I just know that the metal in the tank was designed for it, canning lids, not so sure they won't leach off finish or flavor due to the composition of the juice and flavorings.

Thanks. Probably good advice. You can never be too careful. Ounce of prevention - pound of cure and all that, but the lids for these little 4 oz. canning jars have some sort of white plastic coating underneath (at least the ones I have do).

Thank god for thornless blackberriesl

Yep. I have a small patch of those thornless blackberry bushes I planted a few years ago just to the side of my back patio. I can't resist eating all of the berries right off the bushes as they ripen (it's a contest between my granddaughter and myself to see who can get to them first. I always let her win when she's here.) I can't wait until my Mulberry trees get big enough (maybe next year) to start producing.

If I tried to eat all the berries I get I'd be taking a trip to the hospital. I'd have a real serious digestive issue.

I don't think those canning lids you speak of would be a problem. I have canned way too much from veggies, pickles, jellies, meats and the list goes on and after all, you eat the stuff that has been in there.I would be more worried about some of the juices in plastic since we know that certain juices will destroy certain plastic tanks

*Smiles* I haven't canned anything since I use to help mom 45 years ago or so (fond memories). I only have these few because a lady that my wife works with occasionally gives us samples of her various delicious jellies and jams and such...which reminds me it's almost that time of year again...yay! I should probably see if she wants these things back.

yup, it's official, I don't trust windows anymore. It suggested I install the intel smart connect, which I've always had the option to do, I just didn't see the point in having something that would occasionally 'wake my pc'... like what is the point of that anyways? So I was like windows let's do it. Big mistake. Not only did it increase my boot time by 5-6 minutes, it pretty much made windows unresponsive every couple minutes and it took me almost 20 minutes to uninstall it *facepalm* I'd think the combo of windows and intel would be smart enough to realize from the gitgo it wasn't a sound plan, but instead they decided to have a testosterone battle, and turn my pc into a rabid fangirl who could do nothing but stand there an ogle/drool like a total derp. It's been an entertaining morning so far
