well, hmm, the mod they sent me is indeed the m50 not the m65 like it says on the site, and it was fine at 13w, but I thought I'd try it at 30w as I was going back down from 50, and it went bleh on me and the reset button didn't work so I had to pull the battery out to get it to reset.

Edit: funny enough, it's now listed as out of stock, I don't want to say they were looking for suckers to get rid of the last of the m50 stock..but that's kinda what it's feeling like. Still gonna upload the review on it, and be as civilized as possible in the info box

I remember seeing something saying the m50 is upgradable to 65w? You have to pay to ship it to them in NC, though, which is dumb and not what you wanted.

Yeah. I've sent them an email, and depending on if they are gonna honor what the site says or tell me to suck it up, I'll have to save up again for shipping for that upgrade. Kinda strange you have to send it with the battery. I was actually thinking about ordering some other stuff from that place, but that they tripped me up first time makes me a little less than pleased.

I did, for several weeks, I was okay with what the YTers said were flaws. I dunno, I'll just suck it up and do the upgrade eventually, or get a bigger mah battery. To be fair I am happy with the mod I received and kinda doubt I'll even go higher than 20w, just quibbling over yellow or green squash I suppose. It is tiring either way, which is why I just accept everything as is normally. I kinda have been easy agitated as of late I've noticed, I blame the new bed, since we've been sleeping on essentially a eggcrate mattress or a old lumpy couch for a few years now, my body is just like wth is this, go sleep on the floor.

It just randomly died again, this is just crazy pants duuno, still think it's worth it, and the bionic is rockin on it

so plugging it into my pc fixes it easier than pulling the battery out and putting it back in hehe

Three and a half weeks later I get a reply about my RMA, They are unable to repair it [well no kidding, the thing practically exploded and was shooting sparks/fire out the side of the case ] and they are out of stock on my card [because all the miners are buying them like hotcakes] so they are upgrading me to a 280x

Just washed all my bedding and took it out of the dryer. Time to go nap in the pile of warmth and hope the mail is here when I wake up. [emoji14]

Did you get your mod working or is it still screwing up?

I switched to a nonprotected [shorter] battery and was able to fully close the panel, so that fixed the randomly dying problem, just have to keep an eye on it and put it on the charger about midday. In a week or two when the mate gets paid, gonna grab another one of those batteries at a higher mah so I don't have to worry about it Still doesn't seem to like going above 19 or shuts off, but I have at 15 and that's okay for now. *shrugs*

Yeah, battery just got down to 65% as it reads on the screen and giving me a weak battery warning and not letting me vape until I stick it on the charger *scratches head* Might need to get one of those little portable chargers, maybe for my birthday hehe

I've read lots of good things about the 280x. Looks like your storm cloud had a silver lining after all. I think I've settled on getting a GTX 960 while I wait to start a new "from the ground up" build in, I think (If all goes as planned...it never does), March of 2017.

Now I'm sorted gotta get my mate sorted, picked him up a fogger and gave him my k100, funny thing is, I used my fogger all day long on the k100, but his is just tasting burnt :/ It's always funny how these these have their own little personalities. Probably got a hair to much wicking. Mine like a full head of hair, and this one is obviously a mohawk type.

Also I switched the airflow rings, so now his is mostly black with a gold ring, and mines mostly gold with a black ring *snickers*
