Just got my caddy in today and setup up with what I could find laying around. I really like it, but man I got a lot of batteries!

Ahoy all, happy Friday to ye!

I put a coat of finish on all the mods yesterday. Today I inspect them all and sand out the imperfections the finish revealed then give them a second coat. Pictures to follow the second coat, probably late today. I'd say I need about another week to finish them?

The final tally so far is, seven Cutlass DNA20's, four Destroyer DNA20'S, two Cutlass DNA20-26650 battery and one Destroyer DNA20-26650 battery. All the others will take the usual 18650 battery.

I tried to make th 26650 mods hold a flat-topped battery firm while also allowing enough room to fit a button top battery. The 26650 mods also will have a built-in recharger as many people (me included) don't have a charger that will accept those huge batteries.

Have a great day all, arrr!

I cannot find English in the translator. So I cant see anything when I click on "mods" Do you have wood box mods for sale? I'm in the market.

See post above. I will start posting pictures here on the thread as they near completion. If you see one you really want, you can call 'dibs' on it and I will set it aside for you.

Getting excited to see them now!!!!

That's an excellent idea to provide that usb charging port on the 26650 Cappy, that was one of my concern, even if most chargers do charge these big boys actually, that's a nice thing to be able to refill the battery sitting at the laptop or even in you car.
I'll probably won't be part of this batch in the end, way too many bills for a single month with the car and vet and so on, so I won't have any F5 fight with other members of the Crew this time, but it's definitelly on my "must have" list and is certainly some of the most exciting mods out there at the moment with all these features. I really hope more people could know about them as, to me, they're on par with the Hana or ZNA that seem to be popular right now and are selling like hotcakes. Come on, that's 26650, usb built-in charger and DNA20, how many of this devices exist right now?! :)

Ahoy!

Ok, here's a peep!

If you click on the thumbnail you will get the full sized picture. I uploaded hi-rez pics so you can zoom in to get a good look at them as the pics aren't very good. I snapped them when I was done with the fine sanding and before they got the next coat of finish.

The Cutlass 20's -

The Destroyer 20's -

The Destroyer 26650 and two Cutlass 26650's -

There will be much better pictures coming soon.

Ok, back to work. I'm doing the painstaking job of assembling 14 electronics modules for the mods. That will probably take me 2 or 3 days to finish, depending on how long my eyes/back hold up to all the hours hunched over a desk! Arrrrr(ggg)

Ahoy all, hope the day treated you well?

Well, two of the Destroyers are now taken. I'm happy the thread regulars get first dibs on the mods again.

Today I got the up/down switches and circuit boards/displays mounted and glued in while the CNC machine was putting the holes into desk caddies. Tomorrow is all desk caddies and then back to work on the mods Monday.

Joanne is getting better every day. She spent the last couple days at her sisters house visiting and getting lots of rest.

I hope she will be good to go for a long while now, the medical headaches have been pretty steady this year.

Remember last summer when I mentioned I had been diagnosed with PVD in my left eye? Well I've been living with one eye that has 'floaters' and such in it and was getting used to it finally, but unfortunately my OTHER eye decided it wanted to join the club so I am now dealing with PVD in both eyes.... Unfortunately I am unable to drive any longer but I have plenty of volunteers to do the running around for me.

I'm still able to get the work done ok, somewhat slower than I used to and I doubt I will be making the mods in the numbers I used to do, but I will keep working as long as I can still see to do the job! Yeah, not been a great year so far medical-wise. At least the rest of the family is doing well.

Anyhow, have a good one, arrrr!

I agree RSM mods are as good as anything else on the market (and honestly IMHO better then most everything else). I still believe that if a reviewer were to get their hands on one RSM's popularity would skyrocket.

Glad to hear the Commadore is doing better Cappy. But sorry to hear about your eyes. My step dad recently had cataract surgery on one eye and he is happy as a pig in mud to finally be able to see again. Supposed to have surgery on the other eye in 2 weeks if they stop postponing it. I've had terrible astigmatism since about 3 or 4 years old and have been terrified of losing my sight my whole life. Maybe someday I will get lasics lol/
