Ahoy all, heya fright!

Yup, just another day in the week.

I'm currently routing out the body of the last mod of the batch. It's a 26650 destroyer and it's the first one I've ever made, always a point of high stress, but so far so good. I spent far too many days in the design of the 26650 model, I hope they don't sit on the website unsold after all this even though I'm only making three. Two feeders and one inset

Ahoy all! Busy busy busy here ...

The Commodore (Joanne) had been in and out of the hospital for a couple months, but they finally decided surgery was called for and did a bowel resection yesterday. She's very sleepy today but the surgery went just fine. This is the third time they have had to do that in the past 18 years, but it's not unusual for her disease. She's had two resections done in the last year and a half though.... sigh...

The biggest hassle is driving up to Tampa weekly, sometimes daily. It's a 60 mile drive with a highway full of senior citizens, arrrrggg.

I'm only making one destroyer 26650. brazillian imbuia and koa. The other two 26650's are gonna be feeders, Redwood/curly maple & Zebra/goncalo alves (tiger wood).

Besides the multi-layered wood bodies this batch, there is also gonna be a solid ebony Cutlass20 and a solid Ziricote Destroyer20. It's gonna be a gorgeous batch (when it's ever finished).

The only mod that I bought is a Destroyer (excellent mod). Thank you Cappy, thanks to you I discovered woodworking and I can not do without. By clicking in my signature you can see that I made. I'd love to have your opinion, in private if you prefer.
Continued to dream people with your beautiful creations.

A French fan ;)

Fantastic work! It looks like you are really enjoying doing it as well which makes it all the more better! say.... am I looking at a future competitor? I hope so! We are running out of exotic wood mod makers.

Have a great day all, arrr

Ok! Password was recovered and changed. It was so long ago that I made the account I could not remember it!

The Commodore will be spending another week in the hospital. They started her on a pick line? today as her insides have not woken up yet from the surgery. I guess the IV line will feed her until her motor starts running again. Driving back and forth to Tampa is such a pain....

Both she and I are veterans. She spent 8 years active duty until I knocked her up (oops) and she got out to raise kids, so she is able to use the VA hospital in Tampa. Very good doctors and no medical bills.

Hope the week is treating everyone else well, aloha!
