Lol, sorry, no not mods. I've gotten 3 of them fully built and tested, a few more almost built with glue drying. Once they are all done being put together (probably around Friday?) I might need to give them another coat of finish. I don't like to do the final coat(s) of finish until assembly is done in case I scuff or scratch them while working on them.

I would guess they will ship at the beginning of next week :)

That's great news!!!

Ive been working my way through this thread and I notice that the batch of mods being built now are all dna types and I can't find how long it has been since Cruisers were sold. This is what I'm most interested in and I would love to be able to look at past mods made and would appreciate any info on when more might be made.Thanx in advance for any help and/or direction.

This batch is probably the first one I've ever done that did not have 3.7v mods in it. Next batch will definitely have an assortment of Cruisers & Marauders in it :)

Batch status update!

They are all built and have all passed final test. The next thing I do is inspect the bodies for any scratches/scuffs or anything that needs to be corrected before they get their last coats of finish. I will also inspect the insides for any points that I think need a bit more glue to make them more robust. I hate it when a battery tab pops off after a few months use.

I also tested the battery chargers on the 26650 units and they look like they are working fine. One thing I noticed on the 26650 mods is the battery is so darn heavy that if the mod is bounced up and down hard enough the weight of the battery will compress the spring a bit and the mod will lose batter contact for just a moment. I might just include a few magnets in case the new owners need to compress the springs a bit more by placing a magnet or two on the positive battery tabs. A 26650 with a button top will be tighter of course and it was tested with a flat top.

I have a busy weekend coming up, so I want to get as much done on the batch as I can before I switch to desk caddies again.

Anyhow, have a great night and a awesome piratey Friday. Arrrr!

(Testing the charger before I glued the wires into place)
