Speaking of which....

Cappy have you decided on using Evolv dna or the CNA boards ?

Some of them I got directly from Evolv, the rest through a reseller. I don't think I'm going to try to get them straight from Brandon at Evolv anymore, seems like the wait is forever. I'm thinking the bigger the order, the faster it gets filled.....and my orders are small. I'll get them from where ever I can for now I guess.

There are still some other exciting regulators being developed though, so who knows what will happen with future batches, har!

China, Taiwan, USA, if they fail they fail and I will replace them but so far the DNA mods are still running at 100% with no failures.

Time to bump, getting some basic questions again.

Website: Welcome to Red Sky Mods -

I am currently working on a batch of all 4 models and project several weeks for completion of some of the regulated models and a week or so for completion of some of the 3.7v models...

Ahoy!

Welcome to the new Redskymods thread.

Our website - RedSkyMods.com

As I begin my 4th year of production, it's also time to re-start our thread here on ECF.

I am pleased to be able to offer what I think are some of the finest exotic wood PV's and desk caddies available and also do my part in helping people kick the cigarette habit and offer an infinitely better alternative.

RSM mods are not for everyone, but, if you love exotic woods carefully crafted into exquisite hand held mods, beautiful both inside and out, then they may be for you. Read on!

I offer the finest PV's that will last for years of use and do that by ensuring you purchase not only a gorgeous mod, but a safe and reliable mod as well.

Our PV models are under constant evolution and incorporate the best that the e-cig world has to offer. I do not, however, instantly jump on the latest fad or feature until it has proven itself on the market and is a fitting match for RSM mods.

Every month or so I release our latest creations for sale on our website. The loyal crew here on the ECF thread get a heads up on our daily activities and usually get the first pick of newly released mods.

I have also offered desk caddies for the last couple years and also try to adapt to the changing market and offer stands and holders that compliment your PV collection and are as beautiful as they are functional.

Enough! Let's take a look!

(Click on any thumbnail picture for a larger view)

RSM currently offers 4 models to fit most needs.

Cruiser; 3.7 volt, 6 ml bottom feeder. Single 18650 battery.

Marauder; 3.7 volt, 23.5 mm inset tank mod. Single 18650 battery.

Cutlass; Variable watt using the DNA20 regulator, 6 amps, 6 ml bottom feeder. OLED display. Single 18650 battery.

Destroyer; Variable watt using the DNA20 regulator, 6 amps, 23mm inset tank mod, OLED display. Single 18650 battery.

For desk caddies, we basically offer small, medium and large holders of various styles.

Here are thumbnails of just a few of the many desk caddies offered - Website-Desk Caddies

Small Medium Large

Always remember to not over-tighted your atomizer or tank. Tighten just enough to feel resistance and maybe a bit more. This will prevent premature failure of your atomizer connector seal and save you the cost of a repair.

Hoping I will have the funds around to nab one of the Cutlass ones from you when you post them up! They look stunning!

Additional note...

I will post pics of the mods after they get a coat or two of finish and that is when I will start accepting people calling "Dibs" on them.

I know everyone interested wants to ensure they get one, but this way keeps me from getting a PM box full of requests. People wondering what I am making, out of what wood, which models and can I "please describe what wood I am using and in what combination".

Please be patient and I will post pictures. Until I do that I can't really give anyone an idea of what the finished product will look like.

Again, to clarify the regulator situation. If you want a dna30 type regulator (Cutlass & Destroyer) you are going to get a China board. The reseller I got them from had them listed as Evolv, they are not. Not much I can do as I must have regulators and I cannot get my hands on the real deal apparently. The ones I got from Brandon are DNA20 prototype boards, so the DNA20's are from Evolv but I am making them all with the 30's.

If this disappoints some people, I'm sorry. My choice was to use these or none at all.

Oooh ooh I hope it is for me 26650 destroy FTMFW!!!

To be sure!

It has one more critical process to go though when I route the edges round. If it survives then all should be well for you :)

It has the new standard tank hole of .9" (23.3mm) diameter. Hope you like it.

Hi @Capt' Brian I have one of your babies on it's way to me from another vaper here in SA. I have been hearing conflicting stories as to the limit I have on the minimum ohm setup. Please clarify :)

Ahoy!

From the picture it looks like the 6 amp version. The higher amp versions don't have springs at the negative they have a metal tab to handle higher amps. I think the spring will collapse around 7 or 8 amps if I'm not mistaken.

I would think .7 ohms is as low as you might want to go. With a fully charged battery that will keep it around 6 amps and under.

Many thanks and big vape Ahoy! :) I'm very happy to vape between 0.9 and 1.4 ohm on my Reo, so I can continue as usual :D
