Ahoy, ahoy and AHOY!

I'm still alive and kicking but I have a lot going on at the moment.

I'm trying to do machine maintenance and upgrades including a full tear-down of the cnc machine as it is having problems due to age. I'm also trying to do paperwork that I've been putting off for ages including a couple of innovations for e-cigs that I want to try to patent before they are released. One of them is completely awesome but I though of it years ago and never did anything about it so at least I am going to try to get the patent in before it's too late.

I'm also looking into a business model change and other stuff that has been neglected for far too long. Lot's of stuff for one tired old man to get done, but I'm trying!

Have a great weekend all, you know where I'll be as usual......

Oh no, it will be work as usual, I will just be doing other stuff as well, like paperwork.

I finished overhauling the cnc machine a bit ago, it's working like a top again. I switched to a teflon based lubricant instead of the silicone based and hopefully I will have a much smaller problem of fine dust in the drive systems!

Tomorrow I start assembling more of the boxes for next batch, some of the boxes will be multiple wood types again. I have most of the wood picked out, just have to size it and get it ready. Next batch 3 months or less I hope, time will tell, arrr

Ahoy, happy Saturday! Got a nose fulla dust but made some real headway with the mod bodies today.

One of them is getting a layer of wood in both axis's, what a pain! The wood layer has glue on both sides and as usual wants to slip and slide all over the place.

Hope it turns out well, har!

Anyway, have a great weekend all, arr

Ahoy!

Hope everyone survived the Monday without too much bloodletting....

I was grabbing stuff off me shelves this morning and discovered three boxes ready to ship that I failed to send out last Thursday! Well, they're off now, but still, I think I need some adult supervision anymore :?:

I have most of the mod bodies cut and spent some time deciding what panel wood is going with what body wood. By the time I had done that and placed each model in their own box I was kinda shocked at how many I had done. If I do them all, it will be the biggest batch I have ever done!

I'm not sure that is gonna happen as according to me ships ledger I will run outta cash well before the batch is done, so I will probably do a split batch at some point and push the 3.7v models ahead again then finish the rest after.

Check this out....

Cruisers x 12
Marauders x 3
Cutlass30's x 12
Destroyer30's x 4
Cutlass30's (26650) x 1
Destroyer30 (26650) x 2

I am also making a couple prototypes this batch for a new version of an old model.

Anyhow, thats whats looming on the horizon. Looks like it's gonna be all hands on deck here for a while. Now, if I could just get a few damn days without thunderstorms I would be a happy cappy, har!

Have a great week, arrr

Oooh ooh what's the updated model? Cutlas 5.2?

Well, I consider the new Cutlass to be that upgrade. The only thing not covered anymore is a smaller mod, or the smallest I can manage anyway using the 14500 battery. I would kinda like to have one to shove in a pocket when I have to dash out the door or have it as a backup mod. It won't be a lot smaller than a Cruiser, but small enough to fit in a pocket. Maybe around 1 3/4 x 3 1/4" or so. Not a real big deal as new models go, kind of a updated Scalleywag I suppose. I would use a 3ml bottle for a feed system.
