It's going to depend on your atty whether or not you need/want an o-ring. I don't have any yet but I imagine they'll come in handy sometimes.

A belt sander is the better choice for sure.

Yeah, I was thinking a o-ring might be essential to avoid overflowing the shallow catch cup while squonking. But I might be wrong?

I don't know Capt, I've never had overflowing issues in my Grand and don't use an o-ring (not yet anyway)

Lmao I saw what I THOUGHT WAS MY CRUISER.... Rn you freaked me out
.... I'm like how does cappy have all of my atties! Looks like exactly what I just bought 2 nights ago! Lil darker but I figured the poly was still drying.
lol
yeah I'm a happy camper now...my LP Grand's 510 is being very selective regarding compatibility with my attys so this'll let me use any atty until I can get the new 510 for the Grand

I thought for sure that has to be mine..... what a strange coincidence. Because it was supposed to be drying today sending it to me on Monday ..... That looks awesome! And you have every atty I have from CH! Which is your favorite for flavor? Nuppin vs. Veritas..... head to head battle!?

River, I'm wondering how did you know when to stop before grinding wood..... Did you tape off the top ? Or did you take some wood off, and re poly? Looks phenomenal!

I'm only on my 1st build with Veritas and it's gonna need something else cuz it's not doing it for me. I'm on my third build with Nuppin and so far it's just okay. The Magma is perfect for me though, except for it's size...it's a little big. I haven't given up on Nuppin though. I just don't do well with side air atties. I found another one similar to Magma from the Ukraine made of Titanium...hope to have it in a couple of weeks.

I hadn't quite finished in those pics, and did hit a little wood to get it flush.

Ahoy all!

I'm starting to wonder if I should be offering a 'grind down' service on RSM catch cups for owners who are finding they need more room than the installed CC will allow? I could even offer it on the website as a pre-pay that comes with return shipping... hmm...

I also wonder if I should pull a few Cruisers off the website, make the CC's flush and re-list them.

Ahhhhh, the game never ends does it... well, have a great weekend all.

Capt. You could offer it as an option prior to delivery. Some of us prefer the catch cup and small attys. Then u could Install the 510s right before shipping per the new crewmembers desire. I personally wouldn't mind waiting an extra bit of time for my unit to arrive. U could also the make button/catch cup color an option as well.

I think you should put your magic hands to a 510 Connection that's flat.... Have a grind down service for past shipmates that want it done. Flush 510's from the rest of these forward..... Its not like your alienating any persons preference because if you want to use a rm2 sized atty you still can.....Capt, can you finish withstand occasion eLiquid overflow? I'm sure it can..... The catch cup was an awesome idea in the past. Now by the business that Tom/chowder's modded atties is doing many vapers seem to be preferring the 22mm atty? Grind 2 of the 6 see how it goes. "NEW flush mounted 510"

I'm with Roscoe on offering the choice of the button/catch cup color.

And yeah, the grind service as well as future choice on cup design is the way to go Capt. I know for me, the ability to use larger atties has revived my love for bottom feeding, and of course, your Cruisers. The Magma modded to bf by Chowderhead is fantastic on it!!

well shaving the cup down wasn't too hard so I'll be doing it to all my Cruisers. It's sure nice to not have limitations on your atty choice :)

That's incredibly nice! That was one of the stopping points at getting one of those right away. I vape larger attys, primarily. Might have to rethink this if I could get a more universal catch cup.

You know what.... I'm sorry..... I'm new in here so whatever the vets decide is good for me I'll pay grind down service if I don't want the cup! [emoji6]
