Well this has been a hell of a last few days. Busted my head open Sunday and have a nice little 1/4" x 3" gash to show for it (gonna just blame that on the wife's car rear overhead opening door along with me being tall and not tell people she cracked me over the head like she wanted me to say....LOL). Damn good thing I am extremely hard headed. Then woke up Monday afternoon (as now I swap to night shift) to a hot upstairs. Freakn upstairs central unit had a bad relay on the compressor. Thankfully I keep spare parts and can work on my own AC, as even an honest repairman would have charged $150 for an 8 buck part and ten minutes of work. But came in hot and sore from squatting down repairing the unit, was being a little clumsy and my foot got caught stepping over the pet gate we have up for my evil little ferret. Was a pretty nasty fall and scared the hell out of my wife. Honestly, I'm still a little worried about how I am going to feel this afternoon as it usually takes a little while for the effects to kick in. Someone just needs to shoot me. Weren't for bad luck, I'd have none at all.

Anyway, good news is I sat around the rest of the evening polishing drip tips. Out of that large batch, only have 4 that needs touch up CA from sanding through. Really close now and they'll all go out at the same time. Will be contacting folks soon via PM (but working nights this week).

Lastly, just going to mention this again to anyone who might have missed my earlier post. Anyone I already have discussed a tip/button with, I am honoring that. Whether PM, email or on the thread. But that's it for bulk orders and huge batches of tips to make (at least for quite a while). After this next 7 day break which should finish up all my current arranged orders, my focus is back on getting out a huge back stock of mods which drip tips have kept me from doing anything with for too long. Lot of money tied up in them, so has to be done or I will be taking a huge loss. Sorry for any inconveniences it causes anyone, but you can PM and I can recommend some good people.

Now it's time for bed and crossing my fingers my back isn't killing me when I wake up.

I do want to mention something to everyone on these new 510s that are available. Due to keeping the design very different from another manufacturer, there are thread size differences. So the shell threading is finer and the 6-32 screw we were using is 3.5mm now. So if they were soldered on the original mod, then they will have to be soldered to the new. Just wanted to be upfront with folks who have a GDNA or Peko. So if it wasn't soldered, no problem, just add a 6mm ID x 1.6mm CS oring or a 1mm spacer to account for the 2mm flange recess for the old 510 versus the 1mm top flange thickness on the new 510 recess. Happy to answer any questions to help folks out.

first let me say, *sigh* i feel like a real dummy here.
i went to the old link i had for the peko build doc, but it has not been updated with this new 510. flange recess? what is that?
i don't understand exactly where that spacer is supposed to go. is there a closeup picture or diagram of it on a peko somewhere?

No, since Gdeal was booted from the forum and I was made to become a vendor (in order to stay on ecf), there is no support for anything unless I sold it to you. Sorry, but as a vendor I am cut off from any of the modding threads. Though my suggestion is to use one 0.5 mm spacer directly under the top flange, then a 1mm thick by 6mm inside diameter (making 8mm outside diameter) O-ring under it. Press the 510 shell assembly though the top of the mod, along with the negative terminal coming from the switch, and screw the brass holding nut on to tighten the 510 terminal. Then for a Peko, unless you are soldering on stranded wire for the center pin, I suggest using the manual adjust insulator. The spring loaded isn't going to work well with a fixed terminal on the center pin as it won't allow it to move freely enough.

Working nights this week, but off this weekend. If you still are having a hard time, PM me and maybe a quick phone call can get you on the right track.

Night, night all!

Well hopefully when I wake up this afternoon, it won't be raining and the sun should be just right in my backyard for some outdoor drip tip pics. I will send pics to all who ordered and invoices to those who didn't send a check already. I'll probably be able to ship out those folks that pay by evening and prepaid tomorrow and the rest will go out Monday. Still have to pass them all through the wife for my quality control check first...LOL..better eyesight than me.

Anyway, night all!
