My week is done......just one shift this week at my second job.....(tomorrow bright & early)....

Went to the gun show - made a donation to the USO, bought some raffle tickets from the Marine Corps League (money goes to good cause in my book), picked up a couple small items that I've been looking for and somehow a rifle followed me back to the house.

Mac, I've heard that it can be hazardous to one's health to be followed by a strange rifle. Hopefully, this one doesn't harbor any ill intent!

Soccer went well for both teams today. My son's team won 3-1, while my daughter's team pulled a complete turnaround from last week and trounced the other team 7-1. Yay for them! Now it's off to celebrate with some fast food burgers since my wife suddenly remembered that she has a fundraising meeting this evening.

Well stayed up through the day, and going to call it. Watched Hacksaw Ridge, great story, but followed with Office Christmas party for something lighter in mood. Congrats on the wins Count and the new acquisition Mac. Night all.

Good morning Treefam.

My normal trip home last night ended up taking me over 3 hours! ...Was a horrible accident on the interstate that caused 2 more chain reaction accidents, one of which I saw happen in my rear view mirror...we had no where to turn around and so sat there for an hour and a half...ended up turning off the car and reading my Kindle...good thing I carry it everywhere!

Time to grab some more coffee and finish getting ready...Hope everyone has a great day.

Morning all, about time to roll. Wow that is early Blue, good thing you had your kindle Angel that would have been boring. We hit 97 degrees yesterday, just like normal around here, from winter and about two or three weeks of spring straight into summer. Well time to go, later.

Lunch check in, no not humid. Amarillo in Spanish means yellow, we are a desert region where people waste water while saying "every drop counts"

At least it's not humid, at least in my opinion. Hottest I've been in was 106 but it was the desert outside Vegas and the humidity was like 6%. Really didn't seem too terrible.

W day down, they forcasted 87 degrees, we hit 100. Said in the summer we can just add ten degrees to the forecast, had lots of cold water and poured it on my head and added the sun hat, which soaked it up and cooled me down greatly. Must be something in the air @angelphyre at the intersection from view of us, four accidents today. Amazing, the last required two fire trucks and two police cars, and you seem to not be getting notifications to "that thing"
