I ordered a mini recently...waiting patiently. I vote for leaving the display inside. An outside display is appropriate for a metal mod but not a wood one imho. Speaking of metal, where can I see a pic of the aluminum model you're working on. Have you considered aluminum with replaceable wood side panels
? That would look sweet!
edit: I found the pic of the aluminum...Is the switch going to be mechanical?
yeah, I think the display outside on a wood mod looks pretty bad, too...whatever the final product, inside, outside, whatever....please, make it adjustable without a screwdriver. I never seem to have one super handy when my coil gets a little gunked, the resistance changes, and I need to crank her up just a tad...one of the advantages of regulated power (VW) vs. VV is the constant monitoring of resistence.
I just use my fingernail![]()
My first but not my last Bogger box
Redwood lace burl with African Mohagany caps/inlay topped with an Ebaron Dripper...love this setup!

Hello everyone, We finally got our new line of DNA20D mods added to our site here. I have to say I am extremely impressed with the performance of this chip. I normally use 2.5 ohm dual coil atty's and was a little skeptical if this chip would drive it and I can fully attest to the fact that it does with ease. The idea of using a single 18650 is nice as well rather than the 18350's so for anyone wanting a VW bottom feeder with a display and an auto sleep function this is for you. Here are a few pics,

That is awesome sir! What kind of time frame are you looking at from ordering to shipping?
This is one of those times when there need to be more "Like" buttons for me to click![]()
I racked my brains on this one fro a while trying to figure out how to get the chip and display in there to look and function good. I did not want to sacrifice the box dimensions in any way and in the end I stole a bit of my aluminum mod design and it proved to work great. I think one of the coolest things is that the chip can be removed if need be so the actual electronics are basically a separate unit.

Very nice, now if only you could retrofit previous VV Boggers!!
Marcus. Will you eventually have some pre-built to order? I have a helluva time choosing wood.
It looks great. When I was thinking about the possibility of DNA20 bottom feeders and when I heard you talking about making one I was concerned about how things might fit and how big it might get. The fact that this is just a little taller than a VV Bogger Box is fantastic. But now I've got work to do; I need to rearrange my vape wish list.![]()
