The missing link will arrive on Tuesday.
I have a Standard Bottom Fed Bogger Box arriving, to keep company with my VV and dna20d boxes.

Can't wait, already set up a .5 Ohm Coil 4-3 Wrap 26 Gauge Kanthal on a Reomizer 2 with FC-2000 Porous Ceramic wick.

Tried it on a K-100 and it was a heavenly vape. Hoping the Bogger will have low resistance and good conductivity.
If it's within .2V of the K-100 I'll be a happy camper. If it performs equally or better, I'll be ecstatic.

Customs definitely is a pain in the rear occasionally and there have definitely been a few times in the past that we have seriously contemplated not shipping outside of the US and still consider it on a daily basis. The biggest problem is when customs holds a package up we naturally get blamed and for the most part it is not worth the headache.

I absolutely wouldn't sell overseas.I think most of us here accept the wait and putting our money up front for custom orders.I think though these customs issues cause too many problems and end up giving good people a bad name.Seen this with co-ops more than once too.

There are no customs issues if I am understanding correctly. One dude used another dude who lives in the US to place the order. Dude who paid for the order is not actually on the order thus can not be given any info pertaining to the order.

If I have been following, dude who is not on the order is the one who has been super mad in this thread. Dude who placed the order has been rather passive.

The order supposidly got lost by USPS which (from my experience) can take up to 6months to resolve.

I think the guy who placed the order (not Irw) needs to start e-mailing marcus to get this resolved.

I understand Irw's frustration as it was his $$, but all the customs discussions we've been having are nil since the package was going to a US address to be forwarded.

I can see Marcus' point where Irw is not on the order... I wouldn't give some random person info regarding an order his name wasn't on.

His friend who placed the order needs to step up and get something done.

E-mail and phone will get him further, faster than this thread will.

It's always easier to post without researching...

Calling from Malaysia may not be a viable option for him. Marcus knows there is an issue with the order, not only from the customer, but also when a mod contacted him.

All the guy was asking for is a tracking number.

I agree though, this thread doesn't appear to be a good way to communicate with the business. Up until a few days ago, he hadn't posted here for 2 months.

without researching what? The dude from Malaysia is the source of the funds. The order was placed by somebody in the USA to be shipped to the purchaser upon delivery to the US address. Marcus has said that he is not going to speak with the guy who funded the order. Only the guy who placed the order. If he has a cell phone, it is a no-cost phone call.

Again, the whole customs, out of country thing is a moot point...

If theres any issues, i saw 4.5 li-ion batts on fasttech about a month ago. Givin youll need to get the charger for them but thats a cheap buy. Another route is stacking 16340 3v (with extreme caution due to the high amperage load you vape at) or 2 18350 aw imr's (safer at higher loads) and adjusting your coil appropriatly. (I hate math though so youd be on your own with a calculator and multimeter) Heck, you could prob sell the k100 to fund more batts if you had to go that route. I know youll like it though.

That's where you're wrong, according to what I've read. DMC placed the order for Irwan, they are both in Malaysia. DMC was using someone he knows in Portland to ship the package to him. The person in Portland has nothing to do with the purchase other than to receive the item, and forward along.

I've been a party to this type of transaction, and made the buyer aware that once it is received at the delivery address in the US, that I would no longer be responsible. I paid the $2 extra for delivery confirmation (tracking). Did Marcus? DMC, who states he placed the order, has been publicly asking for a tracking number for nearly 2 months, from an order that said was shipped near the end of May.

Also from what I've read, many people have received email notification that their order has shipped, without tracking info. Does this company not cover themselves by paying the extra couple of dollars? For a couple hundred dollar mod, you'd think that would be common sense.

We specifically told you that we would take care of it which means us taking a loss and sending you another box if you indeed did not receive it which is perfectly fine with us and as always we are happy to do anything we can to make everyone as happy as possible.

Notice the little dig there, "if you indeed did not receive it" ? If the company had paid for tracking, they could wash their hands and come out clean. But he'd rather toss in an accusation, and take a loss.

These boxes look terrific. They are good craftsmen/artists. They need some help with their business sense.

Meh. I'm not going to go back and forth over it. No matter how we dice it, it is a crappy situation. I just know that if it were me, I would be doing a lot more than posting on a web forum to try to resolve it. It was my understanding that dmc was in the US. I may be wrong. Nonetheless... I've spend quite a bit of time in the middle east, and I know that they sell international calling cards dirt cheap.

Just saying... If I had over $300 locked up in a missing mod, I'd spend $10 on a prepaid card and make a few phone calls. e-mails are free.

I don't know the full story... All we know is what we've read here... And what I've read here is a bunch of he-said, she-said with very little anything from either side.

poor customer service? it would appear that way here on the forums, but has anyone here ever had Marcus NOT respond to an e-mail? I know I haven't.

meh. I'm drunk and pissing in the wind here.
