O M G!!! LOL! I have lots of those bottles! Cool! OK X ... Your turn! Smilee pulls in the lead with most ml's in a Mini! :D Actually smilee I think the VMod XL bottles might be more like 9 ml's if I remember right! Hmmmmm ... I'll check! ;-)

lol! yeah! The A7 isn't the easiest to work on. very little space for the coil, and buying it as-is from a vendor has actually proven to be quite dangerous. Without the proper modifications, it is a slight nudge or bump away from a serious short.

With dna im not afraid about any short but i use a7 from over year and i never had short without any stabilization of center post

The A7 has a reputation for shorting the coil, I have one that looks pretty toasty that I threw out. On another note the best RBA Hands Down for Bottom Feeding is the Reomizer 2. I have 3 of them and sold my Cyclone and ERA because they just couldn't compare.

The Reomizer 2 is the only Bottom Feeding RBA that I've encountered with a Hole on the very bottom, [normally hole is on a post]. The e-liquid goes straight up through the hole and then is sucked back down, so you have no oversaturation of the wick. In addition the bottom is coated with Porcelain so you can have the Wick/coil flush with the ground without possibility of grounding out.

Spend the $45.00 for a Reomizer and you won't be dissapointed. This is coming from a guy who has a very low opinion of the Reo Grand.

By Jove I finally got it.
It took a week of experimenting but I put together a dynamite RBA Coil/Wick Setup for my new Bogger Box Standard Bottom Feeder.

Basically I had to expand the diameter of my wicking material and use less coils and a higher gauge of wire.
So here it is

On a Reomizer Vs 2 RBA

I took a piece of XS-116 or Eko Wool 2mm I'm not sure which because my wicks are mixed up, but I think any will do.
I torched the sleeving for at least 10 minutes, than I boiled it for another 10 minutes. This took all the nasty taste out.

Then I took a piece of FC-2000 Porous Ceramic Wick and stuffed it inside. This served two purposes, first to increase girth, second to enhance wicking properties. The combo of the two wicks fantastic.

Then I wrapped a 3-2 wrap of 27 Gauge Kanthal.
The ending Ohms on the RBA was .52-.53 Ohm

I put together a new batch of e-liquid and added a little extra flavoring to make the liquid less viscous. Also I was running out of the two ingredients Anise and Peppermint so instead of my usual recipe I added more anise and it was delicious.

I ran my Ohms Chart
and with the VDrop my voltage was around
3.5-3.6V on a full battery [Depending the battery] so the vape starts at 25 watts
and ends at 18.5 when the battery under load is down to 3.1
Rule of thumb is that most individuals that are vaping stop around when the battery hits 3.7

A very ideal Spread.

I have 3 grands, a vv grand, and a 14500 mini. Have owned 2 bogger boxes (sold one), and every one (6 total) is topped with a RM2

I can honestly tell you that I have never dinked around with voltage drops, etc. I just build a coil that works with each mod. My grands typically get .4-.7Ω coils. My mini bogger seems quite happy at about .8.

I don't think there is any magical formula to the perfect vape. People always talk about this mod hitting harder than that mod and voltage drop and unicorns running on rainbows.

I've owned mods from very high end to very low end. A true coil master will know how to create the perfect vape no matter what.

I guarantee you that I could hand my 14500 mod at about 1.6Ω to somebody to take a toot, then hand them an 18650 mod running a .5Ω coil, and both are equally tasty.

I'm a tinkerer. If I build a coil on one mod, then find that coil design isn't happy on a different mod, I redesign the coil around the mod.

I think it is far less about minute voltage drops than it is determining which wires perform the best in what configuration for each setup.

Not at all discrediting you, nor your setups. YOu seem to know your stuff with the whole voltage drop/setup thing... But there is far more to creating the perfect vape than voltage drop.

Have you tried R41 yet? I am so incredibly spoiled since I found it! The flavor is divine... It's just a real brat to work with. Only wire I've actually had to heat and quench to maintain size/shape

You, sir, win!

Might need to grab a couple. The 6ml I had in there worked, but The cap was a bit canted and pushing too hard on the battery. I pulled it and went back to the 4. The 4 just seems to have an odd press to me since it is more of the rounded top of the bottle that my finger sits on than the flat side. Takes a bit more force to squonk my 100% vg juice than the 6ml bottle did because the 6 allowed for more bottle compression.

Just curious, are you using Cisco spec 306's? What resistance are they?

I was using 1.7 ohm bridgeless 306 from Empire Mods. I got the Reomizer in though and it performs so well that I've not even bothered with anything else. I made a microcoil and inserted a cotton wick. Thick dense clouds.

I wonder if the bridged atties would work better though and may give it a try soon when i have some time to fiddle.

I respect your opion, but I don't agree that I should have to make special coils to make a mod work because it has a severe voltage drop.

A 4-3 wrap on a Reomizer 2 is my preferred configuration. That configuration bombed on the other manufacturers Aluminum Box.

I am very happy with my Bogger Box Standard Bottom Feeder the V-Drop on it is reasonable and it's working well for me. I did end up moving the Ohms to .6 because it was a little hot.

Interestingly enough on a fully charged battery I see a .6V V-Drop but when the Battery is down a little I see a .4V Drop. that's compared to a 1.1V drop on the other companies Aluminum Box.

Aficionados of Mechanicals will pay $200.00+ to get just a .20V increase, V-Drop is very important. A high V-Drop means high resistance and your vape will not last as long. Nor will you get the heat.

Makes sense. I've just never found an issue with it (even though what you're saying makes perfect sense).

My bogger is more of my fancy night out mod. My others are my indestructable work mods. As a soldier, i can't be worried about scarring my beautiful stabilized box while running combat casualty care (whether real or simulated).

Carrying an extra battery is worth the peace of mind that no matter how nasty things get, my mod will be unscathed.

I think my next box will be a purple stabilized standard to go with my blue stabilized mini, but that one will also be more of a show piece than a daily workhorse.

Thats the cool thing about vaping. Something for everyone. For me, it became bottom feeding with pretty wooden boggers while relaxing, and durable aluminum all other times.

Occasionally i'll throw a coil in one of my hybrids or tube mods so they don't feel abandoned on my mod rack! :p

I understand that as a soldier you have to have a metal mod for active work. And I've always said that the most popular metal bottom feeder has it's place.

Marcus has a Metal Box in the Works. I can't wait, then we can get the best of both worlds.

Good performance and durable shell!!!

So I received a shipping notification on the 5th. It states that Notofication had been received. It hasn't updated since. I sent an email regarding it to bbm several days back. No response ...

Same (mine was on the 4th but, no updates since then - looks like the devices haven't made it to the post office).

I assume it is standard for the device itself to take 3 - 4 months to create based on existing backlog (despite that the website said 1 - 2 months before the FAQ update on July 1) but, I am a bit disappointed with the lack of communication. I have heard nothing nor have I gotten any replies to any emails since the order was placed mid-May.

I thought my experience was an anomaly but, doesn't look like.
