The last I heard of my box was that electronic shipping information was received 9/3/13, after the no more info.
I wish I had more info for you. keep checking the USPS tracking page... hopefully it will appear and the box will make it to the post office like mine did.
I had a bogger box and thought the workmanship was just beautiful.
I think the owner / craftsman might do better to just hire a customer service person to do the "scut work" so that he can just create beautiful mods.
I imagine that, answering emails, phone calls, etc. could REALLY slow a small artisan craftsman down. I think that this is a business model that, in the rush of todays' biz world, has to be handled with kid gloves, as people want info, and they want stuff fast. Sounds to me like he got overwhelmed, and I do wonder how much profit is in this, after owning one, they really are so LOVELY the way they are put together.
Sounds like a mod for very very patient buyers.

I don't know if that is a biz model that can survive in a world of walmarts, discount stores, Fasttech, etc.
Just saying this cuz I like to see mod makers like this in the biz.......these things can't really be *cranked out*.
(OI doubt robert at REO could do what he does now if he had stuck with doing a lot of wood mods. I don't think he could have provided the CS without some additional personnel. )
Anyway the bogger boxes are certainly beautiful and thoughtfully produced.
I agree with you that these are well constructed and beautiful mods. He also clearly either needs to hire someone to be the face of his business or hire someone to take boxes to the post office or take the time it takes to let customers know what is going on with their money.
I don't, however, think it is anywhere near OK to have these kinds of things happen and blow off replying to customers.
It isn't even the fast return for me personally (and I loathe walmart, fastech, etc.). I support mod makers that take time with their craft. I am more than happy to (and often do) buy from those that take their time and build something beautiful and functional. I have been on lists for months and months. I have paid for items and waited 6 months for them to ship. that isnt the issue.
My issue is expectations.
if you know you won't be (or dont like to or dont have time to) take the box to the post office for over a month, dont print the label.
if you know you wont be (or dont like to or dont have time to) answer the phone, dont have a number
if you know you wont be (or dont like to or dont have time to) reply to email, have that listed on the auto-reply
By operating a business that charges for expedited shipping, it is simply unprofessional and inexcusable to not put the box in the mail.
Now, if I had gotten an email that said something like "hey. sorry things are slower than expected. we are very busy. i will ship as soon as I am able" i would be much more ok with it. I wouldn't be thrilled but, I would be more OK.
once you ignore those that pay you and stop shipping what was purchased, you lose credibility. Regardless of the quality of these mods, I won't buy another. I would rather my money go to a mod maker that takes time with their product, builds beautiful mods, ships them when they say they will ship them, and answers the occasional email.
Edit - Racehorse - know that I am not picking a fight or trying to cause drama - I just don't completely agree. your points are valid and I absolutely am in favor of them being shared and you having them. I just see things differently... I love to see makers like this doing what they do as well but, there comes a time where you opened a business and need to run it as a business.
And, if there is an issue going on like a sickness in the family or a natural disaster or something else, tell us. You don't have to be specific - "There are some personal matters that need to be attended to and I apologize for delays" is plenty good enough. This is a great community with, overall, good people. More than anything, it's the radio silence that frustrates people.
