I have been using the beta wide bore for over a week and I have to say it has become my favorite tip. It looks wonderful and performs great. I have tips that flare out and look like they are wider but at the base narrow down. I don't believe that you can get a wider bore at the base of the drip tip as you can with this Trippy. There is absolutely no restriction of the inhale with this tip.

I love this tip! Bert says he has made a couple of revisions and I cannot wait to try it. If it is any better than this one my mind will be blown.

Thanks for the feedback, and please let me know if/when you find any faults so I can continue to make revisions and make these as amazing as possible. the new version (2.0) is better in a couple ways:

1) I used an adhesive that holds better to metal since 2 of the tips separated from the base.

2) The fit is better. It's just a hair narrower where the o-rings sit (the bore has not been affected by this change) and I have eliminated the radius from the groove to give the o-rings a place to compress.

3) I have started to expand the color pallette by oxidizing the bases. This is something I started to do with the v1 but not to this extent!

Good morning Trippyville,
Had a hugely busy weekend and just got to a point where I can focus back on work. I hope everyone had a good weekend and that the Father's on the list had fun on their day. Seems my cats got together with Mrs. Brew to get me a hammock stand for the yard. I think they're all telling me it's time to slow down at least every once in a while. I hope everyone is going to get through this Monday without any major issues and I send you all wishes for a great week. Not sure how mine is going to go as I'm behind on a major project and the VP of our department just got back from vacation. I expect things are going to escalate a bit in the stress dept.

Bert,
I just sent you my Big Bore Trippy report to the Trippy Tips Gmail account. Sorry I forgot to do it sooner.

Have a great day everyone...:toast: Brew

Hi all. Hope y'all had a great Father's day!
Well I finally got my KFL taken apart today. Yesterday was one of those days where I couldn't do a damn thing right. There was definitely too much cotton; it actually stuck to the wall of the chimney, lol. Tomorrow I'll replace it. I'll get pics as well.
Those mufflers rock, Bert!

I have tried the constant vaping with the new tip and pulling on the glass part to see if they would separate and haven't had any issues. Now leaving the tip in place for a couple days does make for a difficult removal. Even with grabbing the glass portion and twisting while pulling has not caused a separation. I am vaping at 1.5 ohms, single coil.

Yes! I like that! I've been trying to get used to a Reo - I felt the vape was too hot. I couldn't find exactly the right things in my stash, but put a delrin insulator, then a glass tip on my RM2. It looks kinda funny, but at least I'm not ready to hit 'enter' to put it in the classies right now!
