Hi Tipsters, it's been awhile since I have been on due to ill health in the family.
Ralf had a heart attack last week and was having stents put in when the main vein burst during the operation.
At this point he nearly died but they managed to place two new veins (from his leg) in to his heart to replace the burst veins.
So he had open heart surgery in a emergency situation.
He is recovering now and will be off work for at least 12 weeks.
My surgery is coming up on the 26th June so we have two cripples at home trying to look after each other.
As you can imagine we are both finding it hard to cope but very grateful that Ralf survived his ordeal.
He has never had surgery before and the only tablets he took was one aspro at night. Now it's 8 tablets a day and his life has changed.
I will be a little scare for awhile till we get over this hump in life.
Hope all is well in trippyville.

Anybody want a miniature Schnauzer? I'll give her to you cheap. Damn dog got me out of bed at 4:00 AM!!!!
To be fair, once I got up I figured out the problem. Besides having to pee, she has fleas. How that's possible with her being on Trivectis (or however you spell it) I don't know. But she does, and her bed does. So I doused her with flea spray (it's organic, made with peppermint and citrus oils among other things; she hates it) and put her bed in the washing machine.

Thanks Reidus & DeD, If I am absent it's because of whats going on at the moment not that I don't want to be here.
It all seems a bit much at the moment and I blame myself for Ralf's Heart attack as he has looked after me so well over the last year. Just too much stress. I know we will get through this but at the moment it seems like we are treading water. I just want him well and happy, life can be so unfair at times. I am really lost for words.

Coralie, blaming yourself for things you have no control over doesn't help you or Ralf. Focus on the positive: he came through surgery and so will you. You have a lovely granddaughter to fuss over. Can you get your daughter to help out until y'all get back on your feet? Remember, when life gives you lemons, make limoncello! :D

Good Afternoon Trippyville,
Wow a lot happens in just a day. Coralie, I am sending lots of spare energy for both you and Ralf. Stay focused on the future and the positive. Do not stress about that which you can't control. It's never of any benefit and that energy is better put towards figuring out how to work around it. I will be thinking and praying for both of you.

Sedge,
That RTA looks phenomenal but I'm still in the REO camp so far. I like the Russian 91% but for me the platform is just too large on anything other than an 18350 tube-mod. I still need to try the Dark Star to see if a small stretch could be made to be an out-and-about VW solution. I'm just not loving the fall off through the day of the mechanical REO grand. Now when I'm headed into a harsh environment doing work that might results in damage to a tank then the REOs have their advantage

My VV grand with a micro-coiled REOmizer provides a very similar vape to my Russian but my mechanical REOs are getting a bit scared by the Kayfun/Mini Kayfun. I have a microstick coming to see if it provides a better pocket carry platform than either of the REO Minis have to date. Today I have the Mini Kayfun on a Mini sticker with an 650mah Ego pass-through battery and that sits in the front pocket without notice. The 14500 Mini has done the same duty for the past 3 years but is more noticeable and falls off quicker. My other real issue with the Kayfun is how they deal with pressure changes. I imagine they'd have to be completely empty to take on a plane. Makes vaping before, after or between flights a bit more of a hassle. Still got a Protank Mini to fall back on but a 3/4 full REO never made a mess in my carry-on. Not sure about the Erlkonigin.

I hope everyone is having a great day and wishing you all a great weekend. Brew

Sorry to hear about Ralph DW! Often times I have found that hardships are the universe adjusting for better times to come. I hope this is the case for you and Ralph, and will be sending good, healing energy your way.

V2 of the metal bases are in today, and they fit like a glove! The artists are hard at work already coming up with new designs and fun ideas that will usher in the metal bases with some style :) We will be meeting on Monday so hopefully the new designs will be available to show off not long after that!

Afternoon everyone!

DW, you and Ralph are both in my prayers. From one heart patient to you and Ralph.....don't stress! Take life as it comes and just roll with the preciousness of being together and getting thru the valleys for the mountain tops are on the horizon.

It's so good seeing all the trippsters in here of late.

Ok I was gonna post pics and my new camera had to be sent back for a replacement. Something about the "shutter?" So I'll just say this about the muffler that I received a few days back. It will only fit one of my RDA's. It really looks and vapes great on my catapillar that is on my magneto, it is a tight fit there too though so I don't remove it I just drip into it....which I like cause I don't like removing the drip tips to drip unless the hole is to small, which is not the case here.

Well, I'm off to try to get the little one on the potty. Wow, I don't remember potty training being this hard with my boys. She was doing great for about two weeks but has now decided......NO!.....no tinkle.....no potty :( . Anyhoo, as with everything.....it'll happen in all good TIME which is in and of itself a blessing.

Woohoo! I got vape mail! My Diver came in as well as my rods for coiling. My God, those cups are tiny! The seller made a build for it, but unfortunately it doesn't work. I get "check atomizer" when I hang it on my Darkstar. I think I'll take it with me tomorrow when I go and get my Kayfun and get them to build it as well. I've watched God knows how many videos, but somehow I think watching in person and getting tips will be more helpful.

try pulling out the diver's center pin a little bit, sometimes they just aren't hitting the center contact on the connector

I finally got to meet Brutus tonight!

Glenn is an awesome dude, and we are hoping to go check out his b&m on the way home! Today was vendors only day so I'm really hoping to get a chance to meet some more collectors tomorrow!

The humidity is crazy here in Florida, and makes using the swipe to type feature on my phone really difficult! I'll check in again when I find some AC! :p

Bert, the pleasure was all mine, it was the highlight of the trip, well that and my new tattoo from Miami Ink. LOL I hope we get a chance for that beer sometime, but I understand you were crazy busy. God Bless and take care buddy.

Thanks Reidus, Melissa has gone back to work so it's really hard for her to help. We are managing, it's just tough with both of us not steady on our feet.
