Yes Clark, another reason to buy trippy tips is that they are collectors items. Little peices of art like Willow said. Like these!

Same tip with vapor in it and indoor light. Looks more purple indoors

Now this is a V2 that Bert generously sent me with my orings. She's a new artist, a daughter of a famous glass blower who wrote a book on a certain technique. Her name is GiGi Hoyt.

And OMG! It took me a half hour to get my oring in my clean tank! I'm thinking of designing a tool, like the slap yo' mama, to get orings in easier. I'll be rich!

Now Reid, I don't mind the little bit of metal showing in the clean tank. Is my atty maybe a different size?

And, since I was filling a new tank with some new juice, bombana by AIV, and the tank was green, I got to use another tip Bert sent me once and have never used!

App downloaded and perused only thing I could find to change/fix/update would be in the information section either in addition to or instead of weight put in the height

I love this idea. Height would be awesome to know.

Also, you can't pull up the repair/modification, and as was already mentioned the tank pre-order does not show up on the app.
also, no sort by price option on the app.

I've had my eye on this one for a few days now. My concern is that I will break it in no time, I'm rough on my gear. It being glass in might not make it through a day and don't like vape gear I have to be super careful with.

Someone talk me into buy it. Do you have to be super careful with it?

Clark, yes they are glass, but they don't break that easily. I'm a klutz, here's my experience with trippy tips: I have one that bounced around in a tile room like a super ball, my 1st trippy from several years ago now and it still survives just fine today. One that I dropped trippy first with full tank and silver bullet attached on a linoleum covered concrete floor and it survived but the sb got scratched lol. Several that have fallen while on other mods on less solid floors about 100 times now that have also survived just fine while the mods have gotten a little beat up. Yes I chipped one that fell tip down attached to a mod on the street, but it was just a tiny chip, the tip is still intact otherwise. One that shattered when it fell off my mod in walmart, and one that broke when I dropped it on tile. While they can break, it doesn't happen often.

further checking out the app, there are tips missing and added as well. whats on the site does not completely match with what's on the app.
I think it might be how they were added to the site because matching up some that are on both some of the item numbers can be used to search and find on both site and app, and some don't connect

examples
on app - not on site
item numbers:
2588
2586
2533

on site not on app

Hi Tipsters, Sorry I haven't been around but I dislocated my new hip and have spent quite a lot of time back in hospital.
Of course it happened when Ralf was away so I spent a hour on the floor crawling to the phone to ring 000. It was the most painful experience I have ever had.
Now I must read and catch up on everyone.

Haven't been on in a while....anyways. I think the metal base kills the look of some setups....the matching glass tank and tip combo for example. It looks killer on others...like on top of rebuildible attys.

I liked the one I got to try out but it was so tight fitting I only used it for a couple of days.....so it didn't get put through the ringer like it should have.

I'm all for increasing airflow, I drill out the little holes in my cartos to increase airflow. My dream setup would not have any resistance whatsoever and put off enough vapor to choke a horse.

I like the app should serve well for sales in the go.

My ideas ATM
after you are on a tip's page, left or right swipe to move to the next tip in line.

Section with glossary of sorts. Techniques, shapes, color types. The visual changes and or higher price are not always obvious for new people on things like triple dipped glass, dichroic, honeycomb.

On ttv2 I like them a lot. They do change the look a bit. But it is worth it for heavy use, lots of switching, air flow, lazy dripping, and large tips. It also removes, How is this tip going to sit? They make thousands of tips now. Super glad they can focus on making more and cooler instead of making sure the orings are perfect. That job sounds tedious.

I do still like the flush original look for some things. I also really like the heat treated V2, and ones with engraved line accents. So it is tip by tip for me on looks. V2 wins for dripping and heavy use.

Sad to say I have broken many tips now. Most of the top section breaks were horrible drops/ throws. Think pee wee's big adventure " worst accident I ever seen"

The majority of breaks overall have been knock overs that broke part of the oring section. V2 should help a lot there. I only send my very favorites in for repair.

I should also mention I take glass everywhere, and don't baby it. When I first got glass and nice vape gear I was very careful with it. My first 2 breaks came from other people. After that, and more time vaping, the amount of time and effort spent on protecting my gear was annoying. That level of worry didn't exist with cigs. So now I keep the collector stuff at home. Everything else goes in the pocket like a pack of smokes. I don't want to consider my pv's well being every 15.

Plenty of my tips have survived horrible falls, knocks, bumps, being sat on. Considering I walk around like they are metal, spin tube mods on my palm, twirl semovar in my fingers, overall they are very durable.
