Morning all. TGIF!
Thanks for the links Dam. I found the Evolv Kick 2 at Myvaporstore. It goes from 5-15 watts, so it gives me more flexibility than the clones (which only go to 12 watts). I just have to decide if it's worth paying 3 times the price of the clone. I might just start with using it as a straight mech mod. I've had mechanicals in the past (my e-pipes for example), but they use 18350s so I might have a negative bias going. I'm guessing that I might get a longer good performance out of a 18650.

Morning all. Hope your weekend's going well.
Wow! Slow weekend here, lol. Hope this means everyone's out and about and having a great time. As for me and Sophie, we're getting packed up today and heading back to NO first thing in the morning. I made supper for the gang last night (they spend the day working on re-habbing Tara's new office space). I'd love to say I slaved away, but I did pulled pork in the slow cooker and cole slaw, lol. Oh, and an ice cream sandwich cake that was such a hit my last trip here. Can't wait to get home and see my copper Nemesis. Now I just need a trippy tip for it. Maybe there will be a sale sometime soon (hint, hint). :2cool:

Dam, there's all sorts of slow-cooker pulled pork recipes. My sister just puts a pork roast and some beer in the slow cooker; after it's fully cooked, she shreds it and adds bbq sauce. Here's the recipe I use:
Slow Cooker Texas Pulled Pork Recipe - Allrecipes.com
I leave out the oil and chicken broth (both unnecessary) and add a bit of liquid smoke instead. Then after I shred the pork, I add it back in with some more bbq sauce and cook it on low with the lid off for a few hours to reduce the liquid.

Sad day yesterday as this tip came apart from the base. Bert, is this something I can repair or should I send it in?

Warf, that truly is a gorgeous tip-The guys still have what it takes to surprise and amaze us with their talent!
Either way works for me. Please lmk if you want to do it yourself and I'll give you the skinny on how to go about it.

Good evening Trippyville,
Been a while since I checked in but have kept up with most of the threads. I am trying to get ready for our next trip a week from this Thursday and am looking forward to visiting the glass-master and his lovely wife. Hopefully they'll have a bit of time to spend with us while keeping the Trippies coming. Been an odd Summer here in Indy with cool temps and lots of rain. We're just hoping it's not a precursor to another very cold Winter. Looks like cool temps won't be the case out West. We're going to Ruidoso, NM then up to visit Bert in Denver then back to visit St. Louis and nearby the wife's home town of Mascoutah, IL on the Missouri/Illinois border. I am so stoked to actually be driving across our beautiful country. I've had all of the flying I'd ever care to do given how the airlines treat people these days. Not sure the biggest ball of twine is in my future but having not been West of the Mississippi in a car will leave lots for me to experience. :thumb:

I should be just a few more weeks from receiving a couple of MicroSticks and then shortly thereafter a Dark Star mod. This is going to be a really great Fall with lotsa great hardware. Can't wait to figure out the new Trippy combinations when I get my hardware acquisitions resolved. I'm really loving the smaller Trippies on the kayfun Minis yet I have a few bigger Donuts that look awesome on my VV Grands. Too many Mods, Too few Trippies, Too little time! Catcha all later, Brew

Bert. I went to that site for the adhesive to reaffix the glass to the base but I can't purchase a small quantity. Can you send a small amount or must I just send the tip back for repair?
That's the thing... It's a 2 part adhesive and requires precise measurement. It's probably necessary to send them in if that happens unless you want to have a lifetime supply.

Woohoo! My Nemesis, came in, along with my Magma RDA and my Kick 2! I got it set up and even wrapped my first successful coil ( I have to admit I used the Coiler I bought while I was in ATL; it made things so much easier). I'm vaping Boba's and it's outstanding! I've a question for y'all: several reviewers recommend using bar soap for lubricating the threads on the Nemesis. I don't have any bar soap but I do have Vaseline. Would that work okay or should I buy some soap?

Oh, and I'll get pics at school; it's a gray and dreary day here.

I don't know the answer, but I can come up with several other smart remarks.
