Morning all. Hope your week's going well.
Overall, I'm loving my Nemesis. It's a bit persnickety, but from what I've read, so are pretty much all mechanicals. It took me about an hour yesterday to get it to actually fire and it doesn't seem to like cart tanks. And the button definitely is finicky (you basically have to push from the center). But still, it looks and feels great, and fires like a champ! I'll get some pics today (the sun's finally out). BTW, does anyone know how to tell what watts the Kick is actually firing at? I'm shooting for about 10 watts (my atty has a 1.6 ohm coil) and I guess-timated by trying to put it in the middle (it goes from 5-15 watts). But the accountant in me would like to know for sure what I'm firing at. :D

Not sure about the new kicks, but the old ones had numbers printed on the board. It took me a while to realize that!

Greetings, all! I had a lot of reading to do to get caught up. Whew!!

several reviewers recommend using bar soap for lubricating the threads on the Nemesis. I don't have any bar soap but I do have Vaseline. Would that work okay or should I buy some soap?
.

I keep a small bar of soap (hotel size - Thank you Holiday Inn) & a tube of Chap-Stik in my tool drawer for lubing threads. Mineral oil will work, too. Enjoy that Nemi. I've got the H-Cigar copper one and the threads were smooth as silk. I've fired it once - but, I love looking at the beauty - I just don't like fingerprints & like it bright & shiny, so.... she just sits. I know, it's ridiculous! I hope yours gets a very good workout. :vapor:

Hey Bert.

Got on the app with the iPad by typing in trippytips all one word. Now here's a weird thing. If I want to get a closer look at a tip by clicking on the image of the tip, it brings up a page with that tip with all the usual info, but seems to add on the donation for Jackie. So, for example, a Freddy tip for $35, becomes a $135 tip, just by clicking on the image of a tip....

Ingenious!

Morning all!
I'm off this AM to go and get my new glasses. BTW, for those of you who are interested, Lenscrafters has their lenses 1/2 off through September 8. Of courses, with frames and such, it still ran me over $600, but given that they're progressive and transition isn't too bad. They're actually cheaper than my last pair, which didn't have transition. After I get back, I'm going to clean and polish my Nemy and see if that helps the switch.

4 years ago today I picked up a disposable e-cig and knew at that moment I would never have to light up again. Along with the health benefits that came with vaping was an unexpected consequence that I would have never imagined. I found a beautiful group of caring, giving heartfelt souls whom I proudly call friends and will so for my lifetime. You have enriched my life and for that, I will be eternally Grateful.

Well just stopping in to say Hi. I went to new Dr. on Monday for start of the yearly checkups. Told him I'm tired of the rutt I'm in plus I've gained 50 lbs. in the last 4 years and I want it gone. So he suggested myfitnesspal and so far I'm liking it ok. My goal is to lose a pound a week and keep it off. I've never weighed this much in my life and I hate it. Dr office called and asked me to go back and get blood checked again cause my potassium is really low. I wonder why it's low. Anyhoo, hope ya'll are having a wonderful weekend. :)

Willow, I feel for you. Tara's going through the change and she's put on 25 lbs in the last 6 months. Of course, she was about 10 lbs underweight to begin with, so she's not too terribly worried yet. I have no idea what a fitnesspal is, but a treadmill works well.
Well I got my glasses. Wow! I didn't realize how bad my vision was! Of course, I'm having trouble with focus, it's like my 2 eyes don't want to work together. They say it'll go away and in fact it is getting better already. I have to be careful standing up though, as I get a bit dizzy, lol. I drove home in my old glasses cause I didn't trust my depth perception. I'm taking Sophie for a walk in a bit; hopefully that will help.
