Good morning Tripsters.
Woah. This is like a little family reunion going on here! Might I join your party?
Hellooooooooooo Delilah! Sedge, Reidus, Wharfykins, damselle, Tjloa, and Brew! Do you peeps even remember me?
Delilah, I feel for you! You and I started vaping around the same time. We got oh so comfy with our "new" cartos and carto tanks, and then, boom! Here we are in 2016 and the world of vape has changed completely.
Has anyone recommended a simple clearo tank for you such as an Aspire Nautilus, or (one of my personal FAVES) the Cerotank? SO easy peazy. Drop in (screw in) coils with just a touch of priming, then vape vape vape. No twisting wires or making your own wicks if you don't want to go that route. I do suggest them as a moving on point if you decide you want to try out gear that is a bit beyond the carto tanks.
As far as devices go, I've stayed fairly old skool on mine. I don't use TC, and I'm definitely a Tootle Puffer (blush) who is happy at 9-11w (double blush). I do circulate thru a stable of mods, but very much enjoy my Provis, Billet Boxes, XVOs, and some less expensive ones such as the Heatvape Defenders and KBox Minis.
VERY happy to see you again. All of you.
And........

Slide them onto a Bic pen first. Stick the tip of the pen in the bottom of DT and roll it off onto the base of the DTHello all! It seems like forever since I posted here!! I haven't been on the forums for a long time.
I was wondering if anyone could share some tips and tricks for changing orings on our beloved trippy tips?
I have such a difficult time and it seems, they all need new ones now.
Thanks all!
Hiya all!![]()
You ever leave all your ECF tabs bookmarked for easy opening? I've had mine open and minimized for over a month LOL!
Update on my quest for a new APV: - A few months ago I set out to find a new APV with all the bells and whistles and learned that in in a short time Temp Control mods along with their rebuildable tanks and coils were all the rage. I've done tons of reading on temperature control devices and sub ohm vaping and I've learned too much technical stuff for it to stick! What I understand now is that cloud-chasing vapers love those devices and while I don't need to vape like a fog machine I wouldn't mind trying it!
Like @Katdarling, I love itty bitty mods, so I am looking to pick up an easy to use small TC set-up trial mod. In the meantime I thank all goodness I have my REOs and Provari to use - They've done an outstanding job for me for over 5 years, and if I have nothing else, I'm good!
Update on my ECF Member Status: As you can see, I don't frequent the threads as much as I used to so I am ending my subscription to ECF . I was practically an ECF stalker back in the day - waiting for new posts and posting hellos and responses to everyone on the REO & TrippyTip forums.
I suppose I will lose whatever titles ECF gave me, but I will still come around now and again to wave hello & keep in touch with you check in on the latest and greatest in the vape community. I miss you all!![]()
Hi there rbrylawski, I can't remember if our paths have crossed but they have now - thank you
I miss so many wonderful people that I've met on ECF's threads - I am ending my subscription, but I will always check in with the free account.![]()
you got it rbrylawski - I'm not leaving ECF.Like you, I found ECF's forum a true blessing in my quit smoking journey and became a supporting member for nearly as long as I've been vaping.
I am glad ECF allows the free account because I would hate to lose complete touch with all the fantastic people I have crossed paths with here
