Okay, time to rant. I have a serious love/hate relationship going with my kayfun. Bert, I'm excited about trippy stuff for the KFL, but I'm seriously tired of dealing with leaking issues with my KFL. Sometimes, I'll re-wick and it leaks immediately. Other times, it starts out fine, but then it starts leaking after a day or so. It should be noted that I haven't had any issues whatsoever with my Russian 91% (though that might be due to me using Boba's in my Russian; since it's all VG it's much thicker than the juices I use in my KFL). I'm almost at the point to abandon my KFL and go back to carto-tanks.

Is it leaking out of the air hole or the fill hole ?

Air hole. I know to screw down the fill hole very tightly. And yes, I bottom fill, though it's a PITA on this device as compared to the Russian. I can't get a syringe down into the tank (it hits on something inside) and I have to slowly drip into the hole. I wonder if I've simply got a flawed one; and yes it's an authentic rather than a clone.

Hey Reidus and Good afternoon Tripsters, this is the same thing that I found fault with on the Kayfun and clones. I thought the REO was leaky until I had some altitude changes with a Kayfun design. I also had leaking just leaving things sit ovenight. No real rhyme or reason. Flavor is awesome but leaking gets old (80PG/20VG). Riding the elevator in a downtown highrise made a nice spot in my shirt pocket.

On an unrelated note, I was driving to class tonight to pick up the take-home final exams for my graduate class and I noticed the Christmas lights on various houses. I remember how Mom would get us out on Thanksgiving weekend to get all of her outdoor lights set up. I can remember my b-in-law and nephews putting lights in the humongous Cedar tree in her front yard. She was so excited when she found the reindeer made of wire and lights at Home Depot. I can't imagine what she would have thought of this:

Reidus there is 2 things that will make it flood from the air hole. You've dry hit it too much and have flooded the coil. More likely, you've lost vacuum. Most often it's the oring the chimney goes thru. Juice can make the oring swell. Take it out and try to put it back in. If it's hard to get seated, let it dry. You can also check the other oring too, but it's usually the chimney.

Hi Tipsters, Sorry I haven't been around but my Hard Drive on my computer did a BUNK and I just got back my computer, they were unable to get any of my data off the old hard drive so I have lost everything. They still charged me $300.00 just to put a new Hard Drive in and now I am trying to find all my OLD FAVORITES. This new system they put on doesn't even have a FAVORITES section I can save my favorite sites on. It is so hard for an OLDIE to get my head around this new system.
I will be off line for ? not sure how long because I have to go back into hospital on Wednesday to have my back operated on. When they put in my last hip they ruptured one of my disc's and blocked the nerve going down my back in two places causing Sciatic nerve problem. So hopefully this will be my last operation. I am really over hospitals and Doctors so the Dragon Warrior will have to rise again so I can get through this. I have been told this isn't a difficult operation not like having my hips done so I am hoping for a quite recovery time. Even though this is a shorter operating time the charges are 3 times more then having my hips done. So I have been lucky to be able to access my Superanuation to pay for it..
I am still determined to go back to work, I miss all of my lovely clients.
Hope everyone is well, I will do some reading to see what you have all been up to.

Good Afternoon Tripsters,
I am sending prayers and healing vibes your way Coralie and also hope 2015 holds nothing but Good Health for you. I truly feel for you as Mrs. Brew and her Father are both dealing with Sciatic pain at the moment. My Father-in-Law just went through back surgery to put in spacers to hopefully resolve the pain and Mrs. Brew is so far out of alignment that she started Chiropractic visits yesterday and will need at least 2 more to get the adjustments to hold. It's been a lot of upheaval for the month prior to Christmas which already ties her up in knots. However I did convince her to let me have a crew come in to light the exterior of the house but alas no audio to hear and no computer controlled shows for our place. Just 5 trees and the edge of the front roof-line. However the days of me leaning her over on a ladder to decorate 15-20 foot tall spruces is over. The guys who did the work provided the lights, cords, timers and labor as well as coming back in late Jan. or Feb. to take it all down for a pretty reasonable price and we won't have any additional back pain or trips to the ER due to 50 year-olds engaging in ladder gymnastics.

I hope everyone is doing well and am keeping my eye out for word of the next sale. I may have a couple of one-off 18350 REO Micros coming soon and need some pretty special small-scale Trippy Tips for those. I also have a broken tip that needs a spa treatment. Broke my heart to see one of my Non-Dichroic, James Yuan tapers broken at the base. Hope everyone is well and I check back later. Brew

Brew I am so sorry to hear about your wifes back. My nerve got damaged after the last operation having said that the 4 collasped disc happen over time and arthritis which also affected my hips. After having Cancer treatment I don't seem to heal as well and anything in my body that had something wrong with it seems to have rared it's ugly head.
I have been told that this operation will be a lot easier than the ones I had before so hears hoping.
I am definately finished with 2014 and looking forward to 2015 and a well deserved holiday for Ralf. We have booked our Holiday cruise in March and will now save madly to make it really special.
We are going no matter what and I have prepared my Doctors so they can work around us for a change. What am I saying, 2015 is going to be magic.

Brew what a great idea to get a crew in to put up lights. I wish we had that downunder. We have decorated the house for Meredith alright for me to. I love Christmas and usually we have a night for all my little clients come to get presents around the tree. This year will be no different I am doing it Sunday night a little earlier then usual. I just wanted it to happen before I go into hospital on Wednesday as who knows how long I will be in for. Hopefully only 4 or 5 days.
Most of the children don't have Christmas at home so I couldn't disappoint them.
