Agreed, I wouldn't want to go thin enough to reduce the flow. I think I'D rather just do the caps and tips separate.

That being said I much prefer delrin tips to any metal tips.

I'm big on he delrin dts too. Shorter version of the CV tips would be great.

I have a SS Origen dt that also works very well but it can heat up quite a bit. Something like it in delrin would be about as perfect as I can imagine. The bore on it looks just a bit shy of the Cloud Chaser tips.

I love the look of the router tips! You made those I'm assuming?

Base of the router tip wouldn't work right on stuff like a Derringer or Mephisto because of the top cap shape. I got a delrin Derringer tip and it looks great, but its so short that I do get some spitback and it heats up pretty fast. Needs to be twice as tall, IMO.

Yeah that's why I made those taller, I thought the routers were too short so I made these, no spitback. The one the red mod is titanium, anodized yellow/purple to match the button.

Was wondering if that router tip was Ti. It looks great! Does the Ti help at all with heat dissipation that you can tell?

I could be coaxed into buying one of those should you decide to produce for the masses. Thinking it would look good on a Rogue!

I don't think you'll be disappointed with it at all. I didn't know for sure how well a short fat RDA would work, but turns out to be quite the cloud and flavor maker. About the same airflow as a Mephisto but having three holes each side rather than the cyclops slot seems to make it less messy. Doesn't spit juice out like the Mephisto.

I might but the cost a lot so I won't make very many, if any prolly just w/matching button kits for mods ... Titanium doesn't heat up as fast but it still heats up, it does look sick tho, I made those match purp/yellow the camera does no justice. ! I still prefer the delrin for functionality.

Hmm... Blue Ti mod with the redish blue anodizing on the atty cap and tip to give it that look like it's hotter at the tip than the rest of the mod. Cap, tip and button shiny, not blasted like the body just to give it a little contrast.

Just food for thought... I think it would look really... HOT!

(Ti Marquis cap and tip are on my wish list if they happen $$$)

I like the machining photos. I own a dremel, a hand-drill and an old orbital sander. I could make a mod like that if i live to be 130!
