I've been blown away with the whole process in the best possible way. Miriam is such a sweetheart. I love her humor. I'm so excited about getting my new mod. Can't wait for it to arrive. How do you like the overone rda? is it a flavor atty? It looks real interesting. I'm into flavor over clouds. I just got the odin v2 and love it, so i really don't need another rda right now. But after my experience with them might have to spring on the overone rda if a flavor atty.
Yes, Miriam is a sweetheart and very helpful to the customers. I have really enjoyed my OverOne rda and I think I am going to put a TC build in it tonight for the first time. It is really a flavor machine, holds a good amount of eliquid and has top notch machining. You can close down the airflow adjustment and lay it down on it's side and it will not leak at all. It totally seals when closed. I like the airflow adjustment because the air hits the entire coil from barely open to full open.
It is designed for dual coils as there is no option for single airflow. That is the reason Jim named it the OverOne........over one coil.

If anybody uses Facebook and is interested in a group for Whiteout users, I created one for everybody. I searched and did not see any other pages or groups for the Whiteout except the one page CMT has. It's a small group yet (around 70 members) but it will have themes, other DNA 200 EScribe files, SX and Whiteout OS information. The members are free to submit any files they wish to share with others. A Google drive was made to get the files away from the Facebook section (would get way too confusing).
I prefer forums even though I've hardly been active here except for viewing since last October but for those on Facebook maybe something to look at.

Edit: The forum I guess does not like url's. Just search for Cloudmaker Whiteout Users Group and that should lead you in the right place.
I am surprised it has that many. Too bad they ...... off more people then 70.

it's crazy over on reddit. there's a bunch of people that preordered through smog distro and are now out $200 since he filed for bankruptcy, i think. cmt is offering a coupon for a $100 off to the above mentioned people. so now those people are essentially paying $300 for an ugly chinese dna200.

I can't believe I sat there and read all those comments. Sounds like Cloudmaker needs more funds to finish the mod. Apparently all those peoples money wasn't enough. Cloudmaker is the Bernie Madoff of the vaping industry at this point.

I would be embarrassed to post this picture.

I love the concept....the implementation looks to have a bit of poor planning here and there and the actual product looks like a marginal mod of a quality that is already on the market for less than $130. Sad...it appears they have sacrificed quality as they came close to the finish line. The DNA200 image posted is no where near indicative of the expected or hoped for level of quality.

I preordered in July at smog and in July $200 for a dna200 was a reasonable price with a good concept.
I lost these $200 and invested another $100 to order the whiteout again. A day later I cancelled this second order because it is ridiculous. For $120 you can get great DNA200 mods that prove that they are good. Or I will buy 2 more RX200, or a VTBox200, or Panzer200, or HCigar VT200, Reuleaux DNA200.

So while I thought it is a good deal in July, I wouldn't even pay $100 now for it.

Back when it was announced, all DNA200 mods were $200 and up iirc. That coupled with the fact the 3D render looked better than the picture of the finished product (imo), tends to make me agree with you.

Cheers,
Steve

Thats why I cancelled my order when I saw pics of the production unit. The rendering looks nice and clean and would have still paid $200, but the final units look horrible with the screws. Makes it look cheap imo.

i remember lookin at this pic on their FB page but i never noticed that SINGLE cloudmaker dna 200 sittin there on the table. their FB page is nothing but pure hate, lol, with a few loyals peppered in. in a way i feel bad for cmt, i do know that it's very hard to go from concept to finished product in a short amount of time. but in this market, the vape market, it's first come first serve. and they're late to the table. not to mention smog just added a bunch of 91 octane to the cmt fiasco. final nail i'd say.
